One might even say all three are propaganda wings of the RNC and DNC. Want you news from an anti-Trump point of view, watch CNN and MSNBC. Want your news from a Pro Trump point of view, watch Fox. The cable news networks are purely biased.

Why not? Each is corporate owned and their number goal is to make a profit, make money. Not delivering the straight news fully, accurately and fair. Each network tries to give it viewing audience the news in the way their viewers want. First priority, keep existing viewership. Second priority, add viewership. The more folks watch these news channels, the more money they can make from their commercials, the more profit each makes.

fox is unique in that it is the only station to slant their news toward a conservative point of view. Hence they have the largest viewing audience. MSNBC and CNN split the liberal viewing audience.

Our biggest problem with almost all news organizations these days is that they have taken sides in our political battles instead of just reporting on them. All are biased and all slant the news to fit their proper agenda. Fox is not different.

A free press is actually quite important. What we have now are media outlets owned by a small number of people and all vying for ratings. They sensationalize everything, spin, and distort. I watch Fox, but I also watch CNN, BBC, NPR, etc. I take all news media outlets with a grain of salt, as unfortunately, we are in a realm of captured media.

But a true free press is an important function, as it can report the actions and concerns of government to the People so that the People may be better informed and in turn control the government more appropriately and intelligently. If we had an unbiased free-press we would be greatly served. Although...I wonder if modern America would even watch such a thing. Perhaps it's our appetites for sensationalized garbage that has driven the media into the place it is currently.

I agree that a true free press is important.

Watch Fox News and you will see.

It features raw hate for one, something absent from MSNBC and it "collaborates" with Trump. mSNBC has no nightly phone calls with Pelosi to strategist and work on "messaging."

Bias and partisanship always enter the fray when it comes to Fox and CNN and MSNBC. Liberals, Democrats love the later two, hate Fox. Conservatives love Fox, hate the latter two.

Reality to one is another's fantasy. I don't trust none of the three. Not to report the news fairly, accurately and fully. None do. I don't need help in determining that. All three are in the hip pockets of either the RNC or DNC.

Since I have complained about it endlessly here, I should note that CNN and MSNBC have stopped referring to everything under the Conspiracy/Collusion umbrella as Collusion and has finally begun to call it like it is.

Conspiracy is a crime for which a Prosecutor can Indict to Prosecution and the bar to make a Conspiracy case is very high. Collusion is not a crime that a Prosecutor can Indict any American Citizen for including the President. Collusion is something a President can be Impeached for but is not something anybody can be Indicted for. Month after month after month, Cable News has referred to the Mueller Probe as "looking for Collusion" when there was utterly no reason to assume that he was. Finally, FINALLY at least two of the Cable News channels are distinguishing between the two. i cannot tell you how many times I wanted to pull my hair out hearing this nonsense. Why do you think we had newspapers printing big headlines "NO COLLUSION" after the Barr Letter was released.

So I would suggest that there is at least one glimmer of light.

I thought I was the only one that was pulling hair out everytime I heard them say Trumps made up nonsense.
