Do you trust Dr. Ronny Jackson to be truthful in his details about Trump's doctor visit?

Do you trust the president's doctor to be truthful?

As I know absolutely nothing about the doctor, I have no way to judge. Thankfully, I am pretty indifferent to what the doctor has to say. Trump's health is his concern, not mine.

Agreed. We change POTUS every 4 years and have well defined mechanisms to deal with problems that crop up with President's in office. I couldn't care less about the state of the President's health except how it may affect his decision making.

I was being facetious. I think that Trump is such a despicable human being, so ignorant of his job, and so intellectually, mentally, and morally unfit for the presidency, that the country would be far better off if his health declined to the point that he had to resign and thus Pence was president.

Can you imagine what the dialogue would be like here @ DP, if your “better off” scenario comes to pass?

Is it too late to add a "hell no" answer?

While I expect Trump and his buddies to burn in Hell for a long time for their sheer mendacity alone, I wouldn't expect an honest medical report on a President from almost anyone. If he has a real medical issue, then discussing it publicly could pose a security risk.

Mmm. Speaking only for myself, I would find that to be extremely anticlimactic. I believe there needs to be some sort of resolution to this era: an investigation is often required to give closure and heal wounds, and poor health wouldn't do it.

Dr. Ronny Jackson just concluded his reporting of his exam -- Trump is in excellent health and is likely to remain healthy for the remainder of his term.

Who knows. We would be better off if they could dig up and reanimate Nixon's corpse and give the job to him as at least he was competent. I would give the job to W for the next 10 years if it meant we didn't have to have this worldwide embarrassment in there for the next 3.

We have no idea yet what diagnostic tests/procedures Trumps physical consisted of and what medical information/data (if any) will be released.

Dr. Ronny Jackson (Physician to the President) is a salaried White House employee, subservient to Trump, and no doubt must coordinate with the WH Communications Department.

It is in the political (and national security?) interests of Jackson's client (Trump) to minimize/compartmentalize whatever physiological problems are diagnosed/treated.

FWIW, I can't imagine Trump passing a treadmill/chemical stress-test with an immediate cardiac ultrasound coupled with arterial blood-flow measurements.

There is no mental evaluation involved in this Physical test, so there is nothing to hide there. The rest really does not matter unless it is something that is going kill him or keep him from performing his duties.

Like I said earlier, just our country's luck. Eisenhower nearly died in office from heart disease. FDR's health was terrible. Yet we get a despicable, incompetent, worldwide embarrassment in there, and the asshole can eat fast food every day, be obese, so lazy he never exercises, and still be in great physical health. The best thing that could happen to this country in the next 3 years is if he had to step down for health reasons and Pence got the job as at least Pence would be competent. Otherwise, its another 3 years of the adult daycare at the helm.

No. The WH issued a statement overflowing with excellence, that sounded like Trump dictated it, then added "Ronnie's" name. If Trump's Dr. Ronny can't spell his own name, we're all toast!

Yes, I'm aware of the email. I'm also aware (as you don't seem to be) that the doctor himself made a statement that same day saying exactly what the White House sent out to the press. The person typing the email simply spelled the doctor's name wrong. The doctor didn't type the email.

Trump is always only a Big Mac away from Fred Sanford's "I'm having the Big One".....

I heard 75” and 239lbs.

Read NY Op permit lists 6’2”

Some of the golf pictures look heavier than 239lbs.

I have no medical degree:lamo

"PRESIDENT ASKED FOR A COGNITIVE TEST: His presidential physician had not felt it necessary, he said. But he said he did it at the president's request. POTUS scored 30/30."

He had a cognitive test even though Dr. Jackson didn't see a need for it -- Trump asked for it. All normal.

It will come down to whether it's positive or negative for the usual suspects.

Let the conspiracy theories begin.

Dr. Jackson predicts President Trump will be healthy through his “next” term. Two stars become three.......

I will trust him but I also don’t think he will go into super specifics. If he say Trump is in good health he may just mean his health is good enough to do his job. So while I trust the doctor, I think what he tells us won’t be overly specific. Nor do we need specifics.

What's up with the chick asking about bone spurs? LOL!

He did go into specifics -- very specific. (Press conference is on right now.)

Hmmm. I should rescind my vote. I dont think Trump is 6'3" (his height has been listed in the past as 6'2" - you dont grow as you age...) and 239 lbs is absolutely absurd. The guy is way higher than 239.

As a comparison, Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo is 6'3" and 240 lbs.

I mean... come on!

Three and Four star ranks are tied to offices - major commands typically. If he's looking for a third star I don't think he's getting it where he is.

Look who the boss is! Physician to the President is an ‘office.’
