Do You Respect President Trump?

I was curious...what did you like about Clinton? What did you like about his presidency?

With me, it's always the economy.

But anyway...
"President Clinton oversaw a very robust economy during his tenure. The U.S. had strong economic growth (around 4% annually) and record job creation (22.7 million). ... Clinton signed North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) into law, along with many other free trade agreements."

Economic policy of the Bill Clinton administration - Wikipedia

Specifically I'm wondering if you respect him as a person.

And then as a President.

What has he done to earn your respect, good or bad?

Can't say I have respect for the person of the last four presidents. Worse at least for me respect for the office is the lowest in my lifetime, perhaps lower than during Nixon.

Other than being liked on TV what qualifies anyone for this job anymore? TV personality, who follows someone who was in the senate about a year before running.

I guess the saying that "The public gets the President it deserves" seems correct.

I respect Trump because he takes so much abuse and doesn't care. The worse they treat him, the more I respect him. I think I can speak for many other independents who probably feel the same way.

I am sincerely concerned about our nation's security if Trump is acquitted then reelected in the November election.

Already his has made several dubious decisions that have injured our country. I will begin by saying, Trump has never stated the obvious. He has never said that Putin's Russia interfered in our 2016 Presidential election. Now he has invited foreign interference in our next Presidential election.

Trump removed the U.S. from the Iranian nuclear agreement (JCPOA) that permanently barred Iran from making a nuclear weapon. It is has been replaced by harsh economic sanctions on Iran and she has retaliated, even shooting down a very expensive American airplane. Iran has followed Trump's example and has removed herself from the JCPOA and resumed her nuclear research. Today, she is far closer to making a nuclear weapon. Trump brought us close to war with Iran in December, and it didn't happen because he backed down. 34 American troops were wounded in Iraq by Iranian missiles. Trump said the injuries weren't serious, little more than headaches, he said. Originally, he lied, saying no American troops were hurt. Iran is Russia's ally and Putin is enormously pleased by all this. Anything that weakens America pleases him.

But Putin is Trump's buddy. Trump admires him and he told an American audience while in Helsinki that Putin can be trusted. He said Putin was sincere.

Trump's pro-Israel policy has caused the U.S. to be effectively removed as a broker in the Middle East talks. Neither the Arab republics nor our allies can trust Trump. The U.S. has been replaced by Russia.

Twice Trump has retreated in Syria, abandoning our allies there. Who benefits? Russia, of course, along with her ally, the murderous Syrian dictator, Bashar al-Assad.

Trump has removed the U.S. as the leader of the free world. Britain, France, and Germany have decided to take up the slack. They don't trust Trump. Putin is overjoyed at this development.

What will happen if Trump is given another four years? Obviously, no one has any idea, but we know one thing for sure. It won't be good. Some still wonder today how this man became our President.

But we hear from his supporters, and we get some idea.

Any politician would have folded by now. Trump is the greatest POTUS in history and he WILL be re-elected and serve another full term.

Its is fake news to say that he habitually lies. He does not. The liars who say he lies are the ones telling lies. That is the evil of fake news.

But on a side note: How many lies have you told over your lifetime? Don't bother answering it because I know you will lie. I just leave it to you to contemplate. Maybe you'll mull it over before your next false accusation

I don't know exactly how many times I've lied, but I do know it's a lot less than 16,000 times.........

Good for you. Same goes for Trump. That figure is fake news.

I will say this: To the extent that Trump has told any lies, as all politicians do once in a while, has lied far less than Crooked Hillary or that piece of filth Obama.

Respect him? I along with most Americans REVERE this man, and what he has done to rid this country of corruption, and what he's done to create this great economy. Trump is easily a top three president, and if he is able to clean up the entitlement system, he will go down as the greatest president of all time. No question.

I guess the right wing echo chamber keeps telling you that most American revere Trump. Of course, when you’re in a echo chamber, “everyone” is limited to people just like you.

And the polls reflect it.

Trump inherited the great economy. It’s the only thing he hasn’t screwed up (Mnuchin keeps a very close eye on him).

I am curious if you can name even one thing that Trump did it fight corruption.

His Administration is openly and flagrantly corrupt, from top to bottom.

Today, Trump, in a tweet, said his approval rating among Republicans was 95%.

Can you find a source to prove this is correct?

Because I can show you a list of all the polls that does not list Trump as having a 95% approval rating among Republicans.

I will say this: To the extent that Trump has told any lies, as all politicians do once in a while, has lied far less than Crooked Hillary or that piece of filth Obama.

How do you know?

I am not surprised. There has been no reaction from Trump's fans to this report.
