Do You Respect President Trump?

Because Hillary was power hungry (still is). She lusted after the presidency the same way her husband lusted after chubby interns.

Donald Trump didn't even want to be president and it showed. He only ran in order to drum up attention for his various commercial and entertainment ventures

You mean Melania didn't want him to be a president?

Uh what? You make a perfect case of being a cultist. Perhaps Trix poster would see this as an example.
Absolutely. TDS was a cult long before the word was in the wind.

The bottom line is that Trump is a very good President. The evidence is everywhere. Only the willfully blind cannot see it.

In a word? Yes.

Do I agree with everything he says or does? No.

The fact that I don't always agree with someone's actions does not mean they lose my respect.

For example, there are several Forum members with whom I disagree about positions on the current Administration. I still have great respect for both their arguments on other issues, and the positive presence they bring to this Forum.

When it comes to Trump, simply look back to my posts in the Forum during the 2016 campaign. I knew what I was getting when I voted for him, good and bad.

He is doing more that I like than I dislike, and as long as that lasts, he has my respect as President, and my support.

It is not that we had great choices. Hillary? Hell no. Sorry she lost ? Not me.

Trump is performing far better than I expected. So yes he is doing well.

Your post is what makes it weird. I am not going to tell you that you're a cultist.

JFK was a good president. Truman too. Eisenhower. And others too. The fact that you think Trump is on the equal footing as them is telling.

he annoys those with politics I detest, so I will vote for him again

Gun control advocates are just out to get gun owners because they don't like their politics?

depends: are you talking about the sheep or the leaders

Trump is the most powerful man on the planet right now.He deserves respect. He's right there with the Pope and God.I worship him.

While you're worshiping Trump, he is laughing at you behind your back and waiting to throw you under the bus, come Nov.3rd, after you've wasted your vote.

It's good you don't tell that I a cultist, because that would be a mistake. I was never a fan of Trump during the election. It took Hillary Clinton to make me consider voting for him and I still almost voted for Johnson.

By any reasonable standard, Trump is doing a very good job. I can give an example that goes unreported. For a generation, we have imported about a million low skilled laborers a year under the table, illegally. Both parties looked the other way and swept the dirt under the rug. Trump put an end to it (and got Mexico to pay, but that's another story). As a result, we are seeing wage growth in the bottom quartile for the first time since WWII. Trump is doing verifiable things for the poorest working Americans.

There is more, of course. He stood up to China and called them on their trade abuses. He did two major trade agreements since the first of the year. He is taking real steps toward keeping Iran from developing Nuclear weapons, while building a functional coalition against Iranian aggression. The economy is up. Unemployment is down, wages are up. Tax reform. National security. Overhauling the federal bench. Deregulation. Killing the individual mandate. The list of accomplishments is long, more so than any recent President. So, yes, I put Trump on par with the better Presidents of the 20th century. He has earned it, and you should admit it.

Do you want me to answer my second?

rephrase your second-are you asking me if the sheeple-who might believe one thing are unethical or is it the people who lie about their motivations

Just imagine the revenue government could acquire by the application of fines for felony hate and misdemeanor dislike crimes.
Maybe even eliminate the need for an income tax.

Or tap it and generate electricity with it; we'd solve global warming. :2razz:

Meanwhile, back on topic. If Trump dies, will there be crying in the streets or dancing>

Trump farting might solve the global warming.

Oh sorry for anyone who got triggered by this.

I am curious. What are those two questions? I am drunk right now on Friday night so you both had better explain.

TD, herein declaring intention to vote for Trump to pwn the libs, claims gun control advocates only support gun control to pwn the pubs. My first question points out this rather odd juxtaposition, him being in the position of pwn-based politics. Second question was regarding ethics which he attempted to side step by noting "they aren't honest about it". My first and second question were rhetorical and neither ever required an answer.

your attempt for brevity in your second question, rendered it unable of being answered

Specifically I'm wondering if you respect him as a person.

And then as a President.

What has he done to earn your respect, good or bad?

Nope and nope.

He is a stuffed shirt, a liar, and lacks anything resembling ethics or a moral code.

Imagine $1000 each in this one example, what might that cost Soros?

I'd stay at home neither crying nor rejoicing.
