Re: Do you eat at Chick-Fil-A?

So: 1) is she "ignorant" or not?
not caring is by definition ignoring.

2) why did you tell me that someone who is gay and eating a chicken sandwich working against their "label"?
I'm at a loss for why such simple concepts, like calling oneself "liberal" and then ignoring that the business is very conservative, supports anti-gay actions, which is the opposite of ones self interest(s).....is so hard to grasp.

Re: Do you eat at Chick-Fil-A?

This is bouncing off the news today about Twitter's CEO eating at Chick-Fil-A and being bombarded with negative tweets because of it.

So - just curious - do YOU eat at Chick-Fil-A? Why or why not?

Yes I do. Because it is yummy.

Re: Do you eat at Chick-Fil-A?

So are you saying eating a chicken sandwich shows that her affinity for the womenfolk is an act?

It’s an act only if she eats any part of the chicken that isn’t the breast or a thigh. :D

Re: Do you eat at Chick-Fil-A?

So I read the first page of posts, and last page of posts, but not the middle. And it goes from, yeah sure, what's with Chicken sandwiches. To a fight about gay people and chicken sandwiches.

I'm afraid to read the middle posts now. How the hell?

In short: the Chick-fil-A CEO and his non-profit organization have funded some anti-LGBT causes in the past. Some gay people still eat at Chick-fil-A because all they want from their food is that it tastes good. That is bad for reasons or something.

Re: Do you eat at Chick-Fil-A?

LMAO so your answer is no, there is nothing new, got it, thanks
Not stated, but again, there you are....again.
funny you brought up this thread where i clearly mentioned the history but please feel free to ignore that and continue your meltdown
You said you were not aware.....of anything "new". That does not describe anything.

Because some people simply let themselves enjoy what life has to offer, instead of being neo-Victorian scolds who deny themselves for uptight, Poindexter reasons and demand that others follow suit.

No it’s really, really not.

So we should all stick only to businesses run by people who agree with our politics?

I'm a gay person that eats at Chick-fil-A I don't care they make good chicken their politics could not matter any less to me it's like I'm a trump supporter and from time to time I will buy something at Starbucks I don't think Starbucks is in the best or anyting It's just sometimes I'm there with the people.

OMG...the IRONY!

The OWNER is holding to views that pre-date "Victorian" morals.

Good grief, put that gun away, Barney.

Re: Do you eat at Chick-Fil-A?

Lemme know when the owner has a "new" position on the matter.

Never claimed anything about the owners "position" was new . . . oooooooops
kneejerk reactions and strawmen has your post failing again LMAO

sees what happens when somebody asks and honest question, you have a meltdown and instead of owning it and just answering you make your posts look even more silly Good job!

Amen. I will never understand why people take things so seriously. I don't want to be thinking about politics when I eat I'm not a vegan.

Was Chick-Fil-A directly involved or was it done on the CEOs private time and dime. If so, I don't really see gay people boycotting a restaurant that the CEO has probably never set foot in.

Its a franchise right, an owner pays a franchise fee, but he owns his own restaurant. If that owner of that store, was all "I hate gays" then yeah, they shouldn't eat at that restaurant.

But boycott every franchise? Nah.

Uh, yeah, ignoring...is to not care, by choice.

Um, it goes beyond politics in this case, it goes to counter to life interests....like "equality".

I don't get it either, man. It must be exhausting to have to wonder if you're eating the "right" food and shopping in the "right" stores all the time. And it changes constantly, too.

Re: Do you eat at Chick-Fil-A?

Neither did I, you made the argument based on a requirement that something needed to be "new".
kneejerk reactions and strawmen has your post failing again LMAO
Au contrare...you just created a strawman.

This isn't about me dude, it is about arguments made, you created yet another straw argument.

I think if Gov promises to eat only conservative chickens, that would be a fair compromise.

Re: Do you eat at Chick-Fil-A?

So whut? Her profits were being directed to anti-gay actions.

Oh, I see the issue, ignorance strikes again.

You're the one making a big deal out of something you claimed is no more. You said that she cut donations to near zero and "shut up" about politics. So I don't even know what your issue is if all that is true.

Re: Do you eat at Chick-Fil-A?

The owner has not changed her views, still does support anti-gay orgs. I'm not expecting cons to understand, I'm expecting you and your ilk to support her.

...

And yet, the owner cut her funding of the anti-gay groups to nearly nothing, and decided to "shut up" about her religious views on the matter.

So what is it? Are they supporting anti-gay groups or not?

Um, "near zero" is not zero, there is no, zero, indication that the owner has had a change of thought.....so why support a business that has not repented?
