So much for the BS that both sides are to blame for the partisan nonsense we've seen over the past 30 months and beyond. Increasing the partisan divide is a GOP strategy. And, it's all the Orange Man has at his disposal.

President Trump escalated his attacks on a Muslim member of Congress and “Radical Left Democrats” on Monday ahead of a reelection campaign that is quickly taking shape around divisive messages centered on immigration and patriotism.

Speaking Monday at an event billed as a tax and economy roundtable, Trump told a suburban Minneapolis audience “how unfairly you’ve been treated as a state” when it comes to immigration, and he rattled off a litany of grudges against the current system: The loopholes are “horrible and foolish,” the visa lottery is “insane,” and the concept of asylum is “ridiculous.”

“People come in, they read a line from a lawyer that a lawyer hands them out online,” Trump said at the event as he mimicked an asylum seeker reading from a piece of paper. “It’s a big con job. That’s what it is.”

So, it's not both sides. But, we do know only one side has good people on it. The other? Well, they are rather deplorable.

If he concentrates only on his base he is doomed. His support has already shrunk. By playing the same old tune, he cannot expand his support base. The swing voters and undecideds who took a gamble last time won't fall for the same line twice - especially now they know the damage he is capable of. His base may appreciate the mess he's made, others don't. Likewise for those uninspired by Clinton who stayed home on election day. Now they know what he's like in practice, they'll be out in force to stop him. He needs a broader message, but instead its getting more insular and solidified.

Yes one side supports an anti semitic mocker of 9/11 victims, the other supports Trump and America. This is pretty much where we are at.

It's amazing to me that you post this divisive and hate filled post and don't seem to realize that it's divisive and hate filled.

What are you talking about when you say that his support has shrunk and that he's made a mess of things?

He is more popular right now than Obama was at this point in his first term. Anything that can be measured is at least as good as and most are better now than at most points in history.

I understand that you hate the guy. What facts support your hate?

Funny how his popularity, the number employed, the wage rate, US GDP, Americans' personal wealth and the stock markets all seem to be going up at the same time.

Almost makes a guy wonder why his opponents are trying to stop the good stuff from happening.

There will be a stock market crash that will make it look like Wall Street is located on a 737 MAX.

Look what's happened to the Obama legacy. About the only thing left is Obamacare and the only debate on that from both parties is which plan should replace it entirely.

It's really amazing that people who claim to be the smartest that ever got a useless education can't understand when they are being victimized by propagandists.

Yet day after day, they buy into this tripe hook, line and sinker.

Last night, Lester Holt on his national "news" show talked about the redactions coming in the Mueller report as words being "blacked out".

The redactions will be made with color coded bars indicating the reason for the redaction. This is a little thing- that's true. But why did he say it? Why was it written? How did it pass editing?

Holt and about every script reader on television is an embarrassment to themselves and us all. They are just too stupid to know how stupid they are. If ignorance is bliss, they all must be very happy.

I kind of like it.

The Republicans have been in a food fight for years and afraid to get ketchup on their sleeves.

Trump is showing them how to respond to the crap that is being thrown at them daily and it's driving the Dems nuts.

This whole thing with the bussing of the immigrants to the Sanctuary Cities is just another in the long line of examples of Trump using a Laser pointer to run the Democrat kitties into the wall.

Suddenly Booker is saying that this will make America less Safe, that illegal immigration divides us and Cher is saying maybe that's not a good idea for those seeking sanctuary to be brought to sanctuary cities.

Congressional leadership is saying there's no money to do this. Seriously? Maybe they could just use an Air Force plane that Pelosi is not using some days.

In the meantime, the actual folks who work for a living in the country see what's going on and who the idiots are in this little morality play.

The hypocritical NIMBY Elitist morons who think they're better than the rest of us are simply incapable of seeing themselves as others, that is US, see them.

There was no interpretation at all. She mocked the victims of 9/11 and their families by dowplaying the horrific attack on Americans. That piece of trash should be tossed out of congress on her ass. Disrespectful anti semite piece of trash.
