Look at the million women (pro-abortion) March on DC shortly after Trump became president. Did those million women accomplish anything? Look where we are today.

The women movement is very strong within the Democrat party. More so in urban cities were socialism really works. I'm living in Tennessee, and the last place socialism is going to work is with mountain people to poor or to leave or feel their inherited land will make them rich. Supreme court nominees almost exclusively from the right are very specific partisan choices to make sure they are activist right wing,
corporate enablers for their power and economic agenda...to get past the highest court.

The first refuse of the new tyranny...is the courts.

We wouldn't have Citizens United without a partisan modern right wing court. We have had right wing justices claiming fealty to the
constitution to then soon as they vote...are capitalist fascists.

Kavanaugh is another single big step toward that. Kavanaugh sides with the corporation which doesn't even exist except in the abstract (on paper) can be found nowhere in the constitution and yet...from today's right holder of all power AND the same constitutional rights as you.

Without partisan right wing activists judges, property (money) would not be speech. Real conservatives understand that no citizen (or association) should be able to have more free speech in the bank than you...own more speech.

Before 2016 you guys were saying that the Republican party was dead and then when Trump became the nominee you guys were so damned busy laughing hysterically that you didn't even go out to vote. The young usually lean left and then when they grow up and get smarter, many of them realize the right is the way to go. I was such a person, being a Democratic liberal until I realized their policies, even though good intentioned, either don't work or backfire and make things worse for the very people they want to help. Their policies truly do keep the poor in a cycle of poverty, getting them so used to receiving handouts that they can't escape from the lifestyle. The fact that the progressive left Bernie and Warren supporters, et al, are fracturing the Democratic party, actually making it weaker.

I agree that Democrats are being ridiculous here. It's not like Trump will ever nominate someone they like. Kavanaugh doesn't seem too bad compared to some. And he's just replacing another conservative judge.

There are far far worse people on Trump's list of judges. And Kavanaugh's mom was tutoring Black kids in Detroit. There's got to be some liberal tendencies there.

Why would you think only a liberal would tutor black children?

It must be because you think it is important they were black and not just children.
