Democrat magic = making billions of US dollars disappear without a trace

Much has been made recently of the billions of US aid dollars that disappeared from Ukraine after American democrats set up shop there in 2015. But that is just one magic trick among a history of dozens. Billions of US tax dollars are being sucked out of the US treasury by crafty crooks who have learned how to game the government allocations of grant and aid money.

This report is about Haiti relief money allocated by the US government to help Haiti recover from the 2010 earthquake.

Even among the real money, if you look at what was labeled as humanitarian relief, in the months right after the quake, that amounts to about $2.5 billion.

Ninety-three percent of that money either went to United Nations agencies or international nongovernmental organizations, or it never left the donor government.

I'm not bothering with it because I'm virtually certain there's little to no (approaching no) political bias in overall terms of government cash going missing. I don't know if this OP is about unaccounted for spending vs stolen money or anything in between. Doesn't matter, since this bad thing happened when a Democrat was president is not a basis for generalizing about anything or anyone other than the person who said it.

Doesn't make it OK. But it sure does make it a no you cannot generalize from one incident - assuming there is no lie in the OP - to "Democrats"

Rahm Emanual borrowed from Winston Churchill when he said, "You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before."

He's right and has been proven to know what he was talking about in subsequent crises in which unsupervised government money literally flew out of the treasury in armored car loads. What we are now seeing in AOC demands for tens of trillions of dollars in funding for global warming concerns is just the latest flowering of the long-standing practice of robbing the American people by crooks claiming to be involved in good causes.

Looks like they are making a case for the idea that governments claiming they "are sending billions in aid" is not reality.
Most doesn't make it there because *it was never sent*. Unlike your claim that "crafty crooks" gamed the system, there is zero evidence of that. Earmarked, but never sent, that's what they seem to be writing.

Worse, some is just creatively accounted for in terms of "reliving debt" of the company that needs help. They aren't actually sending "aid" per say at all.

Lastly, the argument of the article is that sending that money from government to government is ineffective, and that the recommend fixing the system to be more effective. For example, if some of that aid had hypothetically just been sent to every citizen, they would be far, far better off.

The problems in Haiti, the article states, are that it's government has been weakened to effectively be useless, no accountability or coordination.
So if you think all those $B in aid *reported* by governments, is used to rebuild Haiti, it's not. Most never is sent, and much of the remainder is not in a form that is helping any rebuilding whatsoever.
Band-aids, foods, tarp, all limited use...has nothing to do with rebuilding.

Your phony right wing propaganda, wholesale laying, IMO, should be deleted. Far more harmful than a nude image.

Crooks are stealing money from the US treasury by the billions and you insist that is a lie. You think even suggesting such a thing is vulgar? You don't think crooks steal from the government? What do you know about massive Medicare fraud? Is it vulgar to even suggest Americans by the thousands may be robbing the US government blind through welfare and Medicare fraud?

But whenever Democrats are accused of mishandling money it's worth noting that IF you Google which party has more prosperous Presidential Administrations the resounding answer is Democrats by a factor of 25 to 1.

The US committed more than $11 billion in disaster relief to Haiti. Where did that money go? The Clinton Foundation "Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) members have made more than 100 Commitments to Action focused on Haiti, which will be valued at $500 million when fully funded and implemented." \

What has the Clinton Foundation reported about how each dime was spent? Anything at all?

How many people did you encounter in 2010 taking up donations for Haiti? Did you give? Generously? A woman I had known in town came up to me a year or two later to apologize for asking me for money for Haiti which she never intended to send to Haiti. I thanked her but could not understand why she felt motivated to tell me that.

Where did the billions of US aid dollars go that were sent to Haiti and who got the money and how did they distribute it? The best person to answer those questions would be Bill Clinton. The Interim Haiti Recovery Commission, co-chaired by Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive and President Bill Clinton were in charge of the money. Try to convince me those guys spent every dime responsibly, even though nobody seems to know how more than 95% of that money was spent, considering how little was actually done in Haiti towards recovery.

Trump and his family are crooks. Clinton and his family are crooks. Biden and his family are crooks. We are seeing crooks everywhere. These people may be temporary successes on earth but if they never repent of their sins before God then they will be tragic failures later.
