Trump got to where he is today because he was given and inherited a **** load of money, and because he lies and cheats people and doesn’t give a damn.

When someone runs off at the mouth, making statements of fact even though they don’t know the facts, that’s lying.

Since no one really knows what is going on in Trump's mind, it is impossible for anyone to interpret whether he lies or not. The only real proof that you have is that many of the things he says turn out to be factually incorrect. That is not proof of lying. That is only proof that his facts are often wrong.

I don't feel I'm acting like an uber partisan. I never said Obama and Hillary didn't lie. But you said that Donald Trump's lies are blown out of proportion. They are not. He is a pathological liar, not unlike many other politicians. (He's just less clever about it.) And I liked your other post because I agreed with what you said. I attack people's positions on these boards, but never the people themselves. I might debate a position you hold fiercely, but I would still buy you a beer if I ran into you at a bar.

Whenever someone says something that is not factually correct does not make it a lie, unless you want to use those for a partisan political agenda.

Hardly. Trump is dishonest about his own positions. He says things his base wants to hear when there is documented evidence he believes otherwise. He won't even release his tax returns. Trump is the single most dishonest president in modern history.
