Dear Charlottesville AntiFa: You blew it.

You make some good points.

But here's the problem with YOU taking the high road.

If this was the KKK, or Nazis attacking innocent people there's not a single Trumpster on this site who would criticize them. That's been proven, over, and over, and over here. when an innocent woman was killed by a Nazi last year in VA., most Trumpsters here said her death was her fault for 'being there'. And Trump's the media are 'enemy's of the people' rhetoric.

Personally after 8 years of vicious, vile attacks on Obama, and 2 years of Trump I'm done taking the 'high road'.
Yep. You nailed it.

I'm still in agreement with that, especially the part about being sick of taking the high road!
The point is, AntiFa showed up in DC and Charlottesville today, and it was CLEAR that the Left had ALREADY WON!
When you've won, stop looking for a fight and be happy, be infectious, celebrate.

It will confuse everybody but it will also earn you a lot of optics points.
You know who understood that maybe better than anyone else?

Ken Kesey and his Merry Pranksters, Wavy Gravy, Abbie Hoffman.

And don't call me, "sweetie". I am not your sweetie, so keep your false assumptions about me to your sexist self.

Obviously you are unaware of the rules...

There's absolutely nothing wrong with calling a woman "sweetie", as long as the person saying it a leftist... For anyone else saying it however, it's sexist, misogynistic and they deserve to be publicly shamed and their life ruined.

Get with the program Trix... Geez.

.

Two victims...wow.

Was it really Antifa though? I'm not buying this.

Antifa would not even be there since there were no Nazis on the site. I'll wait until I see something more substantive on this report.

They wouldn't even know that until they got there, how would they know?

This thread is not about you.
It's not even about me, but thanks for playing.

Dude, you need to review your posts. You've been raging at everyone and everything today even when people were nice to you. When you drag me into your crybaby rants, lying about me, yeah, I'll call you out for it in a NY minute.

Don't like that I defend myself from your nonsense, skip my posts.

I was with the program for so long until I finally saw the light... and then I ran like hell toward the center.
Rules for thee, but not for me; typical leftist blathering hypocrisy.

I think that the best way I can put this is, "TAKE YES FOR AN ANSWER".

You're a loosely organized group, and yes...you are showing up itching for a fight, but your enemy barely has any presence.
What do you do?

Well, what you SHOULD DO is start celebrating!

Yes yes, the cameras are there because they think they're going to capture civil unrest, but instead they get shocked by the fact that there's this big crowd of people singing, dancing, hugging and cheering.

Yeah, that IS news, it was news way back when and it's still news now.

That is exactly right and if whatever that "anti-protest" group was out on DC's streets today, antifa or whatever, had any leadership at all, they would have rallied their troops to wild cheering. I kept waiting for the DC police to tell them if they did not know that the WS rally had ended with a whimper. In fact I figured the "anti" bunch would have spies with phones not more than a few hundred feet away from the WS rally site reporting back that they were leaving.

I am not shocked that it didn't happen. It just speaks volumes to a lack of leadership. To have gotten.... what.... at least 1,000 people there under various banners and not have any evidence of coordination at all is pretty telling. The coordination and organization was the police keeping them corralled to a particular spot.

On the rally side, there was no need for coordination. There we so few of them, THEY ALL CAME IN THE SAME FEW CARS. There were not enough of them to cause a backlog of service at the nearest Dunkin Donuts Drive Through on the way home!!!!!!

Could you imagine if the "antis' were in a political campaign? "Hey we just won!!!"

"Yea God Damn it....spoiled my day for me"

I have doubts that Antifa actually exists, at least in the way people think it does.

Well, LOL...that's very funny.
Yeah they do exist, but what they're about over here is markedly different than what they are about in Europe.
It boils down to "don't start nuthin, won't be nuthin."

Rowdy punks does not a movement make. Grown men and women with Nazi tattoos, Confederate and Swastika flags following over a dozen of the neo Nazi groups online who are organizing these rallies on line does however. And, that is the difference.

Also, I do not see Antifa cheering for the return of Stalin like I see the Nazis pining for another Hitler.

Once your group realizes that your opponents aren't showing up, you KNOW that YOU are going to be the story.
So you better make it a good one, that's all.

What I saw is an example of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

And the anti's will never have that exact opportunity again...NEVER. Might have a different opportunity of some sort. But that one...DC.....end of the day....your opponents beating a wimpy retreat I guess without even using their PA system to have made a single speech or any sort of public statement. Wow!!!

By the way, I did not hear any PA system used by the Anti's either....at any time. NOTHING!!!!! No speeches, no proclamations....no nothing.

NOPE! And you should be ashamed of yourself.

wut?

Sweetie, I am 61 years old and I've participated in more protest actions than you can ever imagine, so don't pretend you're the Mayor's wife teaching a civics lesson.

Hon, sweety, baby, darling... Trump denounced the violence on both sides. That's all Trump did. Which is the point people were trying to make.

I don't give two ****s about you, try and get that.
You're only here to make snide comments, why should I give a **** about you?

Obviously you do care, or you wouldn't get so upset about it. I think these people were trying to be supportive of you. That's how I took it. Trump condemned the white nationalists and Antifa. Both sides are bad. Simple.

Now you're asking me to prove a negative?

You think I am obligated to prove to you that I HAVEN'T supported AntiFa in the past, right?
Keep flailing, it is fun to watch.

Those questions were rhetorical because the answers are obvious to everyone. You didn't show any outrage over the violence by antifa against others in the media, because up until now they hadn't attacked anyone from the media sympathetic to your political views. You have ignored incident after incident of the violent, destructive, anti-American behavior they've engaged in over the last few years, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know why.

It's patently obvious to anyone with half a brain that your "bridge too far" disavowing of antifa, has nothing to with their violence, but who they were violent against, otherwise or you would have disavowed those degenerates years ago.

Finally, I wasn't asking you to prove anything because your original post laid out everything I needed to know.

When Antifa starts marching with hammer and sickle flags like the White Nationalists march with Confederate Flags and Nazi insignia, or when Antifa kills people like the White Nationalists have done all over the country, your false equivalency might no longer look so damned ridiculous.

Who are the murderers? Not Antifa, Atomwaffen.

Inside Atomwaffen As It Celebrates a Member for Allegedly Killing a Gay Jewish College Student

“I love this,” one member wrote of the killing, according to copies of the online chats obtained by ProPublica. Another called Woodward a “one man gay Jew wrecking crew.”

More soon joined in.

“What I really want to know is who leaked that **** about Sam to the media,” a third member wrote.

At least one member wanted to punish the person who had revealed Woodward’s affiliation with Atomwaffen.

“Rats and traitors get the rope first.”

"Fine people on both sides."

Yeah, right.

The Long List of Killings Committed by White Extremists Since the Oklahoma City Bombing

You'll have to excuse me if I question the validity of statistics supposedly kept by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Besides, some of the accounts aren't exactly clear on the motive. I'll examine the first four.

—carried out or believed to have been carried out by white extremists.

Oct. 9, 1995. An Amtrak employee is killed when a train derails near Hyder, Arizona because the track it's traveling on has been sabotaged. The perpetrators are never found, but anti-law enforcement propaganda messages from the "Sons of Gestapo" are found near the scene. ( that proves nothing since no actual evidence was found. not even the perpetrators.)

April 12, 1996. A neo-Nazi named Larry Wayne Shoemake, who is found to have owned at least 22 firearms and an estimated 20,000 rounds of ammunition, kills a black man in a random Jackson, Mississippi attack. (ok, score one for you. I can quote you a story about a black man who opened fire at a Tennessee church wounding 7, killing one. As it turns out, any race is capable of hate and violence. Not just crazy white people)

July 27, 1996. A bomb set by Eric Robert Rudolph, who is affiliated with the "Christian Identity" fundamentalist movement, kills one person at the Atlanta Olympics. (questionable)

Jan. 29, 1998. Another bomb set by Rudolph kills a man at a Birmingham abortion clinic. (An abortion clinic.. not seeing a connection to white nationalists).

I am someone who gives credit where credit is due, even if it's a person who has never had a kind word for me. After I posted my initial response to his op, I felt bad because I hadn't at least gave him credit for disavowing them. So I returned to the thread and intended to give him props for disavowing antifa... that was, until I read post #6.

Mycroft wrote a very respectful, non-aggressive response to him that I would have been proud to have written myself. After seeing his nasty, unprovoked, hate filled response to that post, there was no way in hell I was going to give him anything but the hard, cold truth he deserved... and that didn't include props.

Cal Perry at NBC News and his crew are among several groups of reporters who have been getting viciously attacked without provocation by AntiFa groups, last night and today.

As a liberal Democrat, this is it for me, I disown and disavow ANY approval or support for AntiFa at this point, because despite my own "anti-fascist" point of view, you guys have actually managed to create an atmosphere which destroys ANY sympathy for your actions. Attacking news media is a bridge too far.

No, not the thousands of people who simply attended or observed the rally in support of liberal ideas, JUST YOU GUYS. You're not helping. You SUCK. You are now the very monsters you profess to hate.

Congratulations, and in future do not ask for my support, as I believe ordinary mainstreamers like myself are capable of doing a much better job of it.
The only thing you're accomplishing today is making yourselves look like douchebags and assholes.

Refreshing.

I'll make a concerted effort to call out the asshats on my side. Lord knows we have just as many.

Yet, you can't even find BreitBart or Alex Jones making a list like that on Antifa. Can you?

It's pretty obvious to anyone that White Nationalists are Nazi insignia wearing louts, who usually sell Meth to fund their hate group and beat people up, if not even kill them. But, hey. Keep pretending they don't.

Can you show how any Antifa group anywhere in the country is like the Nazi Lowriders?

The organization is involved in criminal activity both in and out of prison, notably in the production and distribution of methamphetamine, and has become a distributor of the drug in Southern California.[10][1][8][4]

This gang is responsible for dozens of assaults, attempted murders, and murders around Southern California and is considered an extremely dangerous and violent gang.

A middle aged guy wearing a plaid shirt, a baseball cap, glasses and a full beard swatted at the camera. He sure didn't look or sound like Antifa to me.
