In January there was an anti-Trump demonstration. The DOJ is attempting to force a website to give them the names of the people who went into the website on the grounds that this website was responsible for the demonstration.

Now there is talk that Trump wants the names of all people who protest against him. Does this sound like someone who wants to be a dictator? He wants to create enough chaos in this country to the point that people will want someone who will bring in order a la a dictatorship. Can this happen in America?
 
With all the craziness of what has been happening, I totally forgot about this story. Could you provide a link, please?

I don't know about civil war, but sociopolitical stasis and unrest certainly is in the cards. Both sides of a definite devide are frantic and fanatic. What is most disconcerting is that the society's intelligentsia seem to have made the leap into irrational bigotry as well.

If the DOJ is looking into it, I'm guessing it was more than just a "demonstration".

It can happen anywhere...and it wouldn't be the first time the government demanded names.
