Criticizing Bigotry is not an Attack on Faith

Yes, Trump knows that his base is concerned about illegal immigration. People like you take the fact that most of the illegal immigrants are from Mexico and Central America (with a mixture of others) to suggest that Trump and his supporters are only opposing it because they are brown people. Funny but that doesn't explain why LEGAL Latino immigrants and blacks mostly also oppose illegal immigration. You guys have repeated this mantra so much that you've convinced yourselves it's true.

More alternate facts. Hispanics and blacks on illegal immigration from the Pew Research Center and Lake Research Partners;

Hispanics;
"...A small majority (53%) says they should pay a fine but not be deported. A small minority (13%) says they should be deported, and a larger minority (28%) says they should not be punished..."

Blacks;
"...shift in polls such as one taken by Lake Research Partners in 2013, which found that 66 percent of African-Americans favored a pathway to citizenship for immigrants, including the undocumented, quite the opposite of Trump’s hard-line, build-that-wall approach..."

I have no interest in "understanding" a warped view that attempts to change the meaning of the words in order to justify someone's believe in a sadistic and disgusting being. If that's what you mean, then you are correct.

Of course they do. There are tons of Canadians who emigrated from China.

Meh, we're used to bully countries trying to do **** like that. Last time one tried, we kicked their asses all the way back to their capitol, then used their "White House" as kindling for a little BBQ. Scared 'em so bad, they haven't had the balls to try it again.

Same as we always do, keep on keeping on. Laughingstocks are of little importance, except, of course, in their own eyes. Trump is ensuring you are are becoming less relevant to the world by the day.

Canada joins new German-France 'alliance' that doesn't include U.S

You know nothing about scripture and proudly display your ignorance of it as if it were a virtue. Better just to say you don't understand it and have no interest in learning.

"We"? Funny, I thought America fought the English in 1812-14. Oh, that's right, Canada was still nothing but an English province doing as it was told.

Yea, Germany and France are going to come and save you.:lol: You may as well count on aliens or unicorns.:lamo

I was speaking of legal immigrants, not necessarily all hispanics and blacks. Be that as it may, the bigger question is why Democrats favor illegal immigration and want it to continue while it costs our taxpayers billions. What is it about "illegal" that they fail to understand? If they're for open borders, have the courage to say so instead of saying one thing while doing another.

My guess is that they want more votes. Dems have a reputation for being "pro-diversity", which fools minorities into voting for them. Although in reality I am pretty sure the white democrats live far away from minorities.

Of course. The liberal elites live in their walled compounds and only see immigrants when the gardeners show up. And yes, it's all about votes. They can't convince enough of our citizens to vote for their ideas so they want to import more and more people who they can shape into lifelong Democrats. It's the ultimate in cynicism.

You are right (as usual), Veritas. Dems don't give a hoot about the minorities, whom they only profess to care about. They are the ultimate hypocrites. I saw through their lies a long time ago. This is why I mostly lean right and consider myself a conservative. I find that as a rule, conservatives are more honest about their intentions. I don't always agree with them on everything, but I respect their integrity. I also like the fact I know where I stand with them (I am a minority myself).

A self-professed racist making an unsubstantiated, blanket claim about how an entire group comprised of millions and millions feels about minorities....:2rofll:

" ...Democrats suggested they would even be willing to meet Trump's request for $5.7 billion - as long as it goes for technology and other improvements, not the physical wall the president is seeking...

...more judges, more border patrol, this new technology - these are the kinds of things that we are gong to be putting forward, and I think that they can be done using the figure that the president has put on the table," House Majority Whip James Clyburn, D-S.C., told reporters...
"

I believe the biggest question of them all, is why conservatives continue to repeat the lie that Dems want open boarders. What is it about spending the same amount of money, more *effectively, that they fail to understand? [*Effective = more 'illegals' stopped]

Why spend the money on technology from the 8th millennium BC? If they're going for the caveman, primitive approach, why stop there? Why not add a moat filled with piranhas on the other side of the wall? And just to be sure, beyond that, add a 20'x20' trench filled with punji sticks. Then they'll finally be able to get a good night's sleep.

If conservatives are for more show than substance, they should muster up enough courage to say so...

You could have asked him why he is under the impression that Dems want open border.

A majority of people voted for Dems in the last two elections. I’m fact they won the popular vote in 4 of the last 5 presidential elections. Maybe it’s Republicans rigging things because “they can’t convince enough of our citizens to vote for their ideas.” :roll:

Of course the one thing the Dems don't want is the wall because they know it will work. It's why Dem elites have walls around their estates. Also, nobody is saying the wall by itself will stop all illegal immigration but it is a vital component. Dragging the discussion off into nonsense about punji sticks is just a diversion tactic. So, no, Democrats don't really want to stop illegal immigration.

No, Dems won big in blue states with high concentrations of liberals is what you mean. Hillary won the popular vote last election but, outside of CA, she lost by 1.6 million votes. This is exactly why we have the EC. It's to keep large concentrations of people in certain states from deciding every election. It's why liberals want to get rid of it.
