"Countries With Stricter Gun Laws Have Less Murders"

W.Virginia doesn't have weak gun laws, there is no such thing as a weak law

How about a law that lets anyone buy any gun for sale with no ID
Wouldn't that be a "weak" gun law ?

A strong gun law would be one where the law makes it almost impossible to get a CCW and has a mandatory waiting list of 6 months for background checks, before a mandatory register

NY, NJ, Maryland have strong gun laws.

Alaska has weak gun laws (and despite many guns, the country's highest violent crime - proving there's no correlation between gun ownership and crime rates)

...if the government nuked an inhabited area such as a city they would be nuking themselves.

Not if the government wasn't in that city
See, you have no idea of what an actual "tyrannical" government is. Do you think they would lose sleep over destroying a city ?

They wouldn't

It amazes me that gun owners say they can take their Colt 45 to a militia and overthrow a tyrannical government....they'd last 5 seconds against a real tyranny

Nuking a major city such as NYC would deal a tremendous blow to the government ...

So maybe NYC is one city they wouldn't nuke but rather announce a curfew - just like the Massachusetts governor did in Boston after Boston bomb - and crush any resistance with troops: Budapest 1956, Prague 1968, Barcelona 1939

But say a tyrannical US government learned of a Patriot army forming in Oklahoma City, Or Little Rock, Arkansas - they'd nuke them

You could start by explaining exactly why keeping guns is less safe than not keeping guns.

I did, but you dismissed all the sources of data as "dishonest" and written by "dumb dumbs"

Why don't you read one or two, as clearly with your question you haven't, and then debate how dangerous it is for a household to have a gun in it, after you have done so.

Why don't YOU post one of the arguments why guns make you less safe (to prove you've read the source) and only THEN offer your criticism ?

Let me guess, is the reason why you won't read a counter argument because you simply KNOW it's bogus ?
Christians use this excuse to explain why they don';t read Atheist web pages Btw - because they already KNOW the truth so why waste time they'll tell you

In some ways Colorado does have more in common with Alaska than NY or NJ your point?

That you can't dismiss Alaska or the evidence from there just because it's not part of Continental USA. If you can compare gun ownership in Colorado and NY (two radically different states), you can compare data with Alaska

Then its lack of prosperity which leads to high crime in other states, nothing to do with guns.

Bingo !!!!

And conversely, guns have nothing to do with low violent crime levels - they can only make it worse (not better as Alaska proves)

States with liberal gun laws would be states such as New York, New Jersey, California, Illinois, Maryland, and Massachusetts.

No, they have highly restrictive gun laws - they're very conservative

States with conservative gun laws would be states such as West Virginia, Missouri, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Kentucky, Arizona, and Wyoming.

No they all have very LIBERAL gun laws

Do you not know what "liberal" means ?

"Some states have adopted more stringent gun control measures, while others have been moving to liberalize gun laws, making it easier for people to carry weapons in public places..."

9 States With the Loosest Gun Laws

Liberal laws mean low restrictions, to liberalize prostitution laws would be to decriminalize it or even make it legal.

Nevada has LIBERAL prostitution laws - because it allows it

Liberalizing gun laws = it makes it easier to buy or carry a gun
Conservative laws add restriction and make it harder

You need to get a dictionary and see what "Liberal" means

Amsterdam has to most liberal drug laws in Europe - what do you think that means

Hint, liberals want more restrictive gun control, conservatives want more gun rights. Everytown is a very liberal organization, the NRA and GOA are very conservative organizations.

Hint, liberals do not want liberal gun laws, they want highly conservative gun laws

Conservatives want liberal gun laws

I would say California has some of the most liberal sex laws, it was one of the first if not the first state to legalize same sex marriage.

And you might be right
Not quite as liberal as Nevada but fairly liberal

I am a liberal and I support very conservative gun laws (ie: making getting a gun harder) but liberal sex laws including the legalization of prostitution (ie: making it easier).

It's pure what-about-ism

Look what happened last time the USA banned alcohol, wasn't very successful was it ?

The only answer is to ban guns.
And we would get the same results we got when we banned alcohol.
