I honestly have no idea at this point. The Tea Party themselves were frauds, who only cared about deficits and spending when a black Democrat was in office. The moment the great orange hope was inaugurated, you haven't heard a single peep out of them, even as Trump runs trillion dollar deficits, and spends like a Drunken sailor (like all GOP president's do).

I could very well see a split within the GOP in the near future, the Kasich/Romney wing forming their own smaller party, while the Trump/alt-right/tea party crowd takes over the GOP, but then again I'm not sure that split will happen for the sole reason that they know if it does happen and they split the "conservative" base between the moderates and the alt-right radicals, that means the Dems would win every national election, which is the last thing they want.

Honestly, I have no idea what's going to be the future of the cesspool known as the modern day GOP. I just know that with demographics trending the way they are, no way in hell will they survive in their current state.

They already sort of tried her in 2008 (back when the GOP was a bit more sain), so I doubt they try her again. I will say Palin was the pre cursor to Donald Trump. Her popularity with the GOP base back in 2008 should have been an indication that an even bigger moron would rise to power within the GOP in the future.

They have compiled email lists and are seeking an army of volunteers.
On top of that, primary turnout for Trump set records, despite no rival.

The numbers are often multiple times the venues' capacities.

I think if you check, the numbers might be from surveys of people online who say they will attend rather than the actual attendees.
