Conservative refuse to admit these facts are true

You obviously fail at logic.

What is, or is not, the right thing...is an OPINION. Even if one holds that opinion years after the fact. Even if one has evidence of how their life is better it's all based on OPINION.

Now, a FACT would be "Due to getting an abortion, she did not have to drop out of the work force for any extended time, resulting in increased earnings and a higher average pay."

An OPINION is saying something like "Because it got her higher pay, it was the right thing to do."

Where you get mixed up is generalizing the decisions like what is right or wrong for one woman is also right or wrong for other women. Right and wrong for each woman is in the details. A woman's current job situation is a FACT. How much money she has is a FACT. Her marital status is a FACT. Her current living situation is a FACT. Her education level is a FACT. The only opinion is whether abortion or adoption would make her feel better when the pregnancy is over.

Where am I failing at logic?

Then please do so.

I am starting a survey. I will survey women and let you know the results.

"Are you happy that you did not abort your pregnancy?"

It is already 4 yes's and 0 no's.

So you will not even attempt to pretend that you did not lie? Amazing.

There are rules against satire? Really?

the translation is "you are too stupid to understand logic". Unfortunately for Kevin he doesn't understand survey reporting and that when researchers find that 95% of a group say XXX it is a fact that they found 95% of people saying XXXX not an opinion no matter how many time Kevin explains the difference between opinion and fact.

I am merely commenting on the possible rule violation. The rule is "Don't be a jerk" ... 6a I think... and that can be applied fairly liberally... a man calling another man "sweetie" or "dumpling" when they are not friends easily qualifies as "being a jerk". I have seen it garner an infraction in the past too...

So you will not even attempt to pretend that you did not lie? Amazing.

Because all you do with me now is call me a liar and avoid answering my questions, I put you on my ignore list.

I will gladly answer your questions once you prove that your three statements are not, in fact, lies...

Prove they are true based off of what I said... not lies that you just made up and are cowardly running away from.

And putting me on ignore only affirms that you are scared to admit your lies are, in fact, lies.

Prove your statements... earn some respect. Then I will answer your questions that you asked AFTER you posted the lies.

Show me again what you are calling lies that I posted.

Tell you what Kevin, why don't we just give up explaining how it is a fact that women are smart enough to know when they have done the right thing and move along to the next item on that list of things conservative men can't handle: women of the religious right get abortions at exactly the same rate as all other women and for exactly the same reason. Now, that's a fact, Kevin, from the CDC.

And Kevin says "CDC?". "Those are the people that say vaccines are OK. They lie about everything. CDC is going to make us take COVID vaccine that has microchips in it designed by Bill Gates. The deep state and Bill will control every move we make. Just like I said before, "You obviously fail at logic." "

And I say, "BWHAHAHAHAH!

Then Kevin says, "If you continue the laughing I will ignore you. Read the forum rules. Laughing is not allowed."

And I show Kevin forum rule # 257; Sub-section a:, paragraph 2:, sentence 2:, which says : When a poster says someone is too stupid to understand logic that someone is allowed to laugh and call the poster “dumpling”.

Those are the rules Kevin

I didn't call you stupid. I commented on your failure to grasp logic.

You're also assuming I'm pro life...i'm not. I'm pro choice, always have been. The thread title and first post made a statement and asked a question. I answered.

I'll reiterate...conservatives refuse to acknowledge your facts, because they aren't facts...they're opinions.

In a woman's OPINION, they did the correct thing in getting an abortion.

You've stated a series of facts regarding women's opinions, and then called them facts.

In my opinion, I made the right choice in selling my Honda civic to buy a.Chevy corvette. Its faster. Ergo, I did the right thing.

Is that a fact?

No, we have to give him that one. Sweetie and dumpling are not insulting but they are condescending.

But then on the other hand i can understand why she is being condescending to someone who really cannot figure out how opinions work.

At least you admit they're opinions, lol.

Right, its a fact those opinions are held...but the opinions themselves are still opinions. Not facts. Which is the answer to the question posed in the OP.

Read the post. I don't appreciate being called dumpling. Her intent was to insult.

Kevin, 3 different people explained to you about 6 different ways and times how the first statement was a fact. The next time when that many people tell you that many times that you don't understand something and you keep right on insisting they don't know what they are talking about you might want to be on the look out for an incoming insult.

3 people not understanding that facts about opinions doesn't make opinions facts isn't my problem.

No, i pointed out you do not understand how opinions work, that is far cry from admitting they are opinions as you are trying to do.

Her use of condescension is understandable. You seem unable to grasp the difference between fact and opinions.

I don't think I'm being understood properly.

OP posted a series of facts, but they are facts about opinions. For the purposes of the OPs questions, stating facts about a series of opinions...is no better than posting opinions.

A pro "life" person will read those facts about opinions, and say, its opinions. Which is why they don't accept it. Because its opinions...pro "life" folks don't care about a woman's opinion. They would first have to learn to respect their right to bodily sovreinty, before they could even pretend to care about an opinion.

And it would be pointed out to them as it is being pointed out to you that these are not just opinions .

Yours is simply an argument that a women is not intelligent enough to know if she is better off after an abortion or not. So you demote her understanding of how her life is to just an opinion. Yet she could well be pointing to several facts that demonstrate her life is better off.

It's the usual pro life stance of dismissive of women rather than any real argument that it is just an opinion.

Just because something leaves you better off doesn't make it the "right" thing to have done.

Make sure you survey every single woman alive who has given birth.

Can you show me how that is done by supplying the opinion of every single woman on Earth that has had an abortion please?

Thank you.
