He pulled off the win against Rick Saccone in a district that voted 20% more on Scum bag over Clinton. Total absolute upsets of the right ,in all the special elections I believe 40+ went from red to dem. and 4 went from dem to Red. What I mean is the GOP of Eisenhower, not the GOP of a race baiting birther who has the KKK and white nationalist crowd vocally supporting him. Your precious GOP isn't even rubber stamping a "conservative agenda". At this point they've become a white power/nationalist party, who of course still pushes their usual tax cuts for the wealthy agenda.

I'd be careful turning the tables on the OP that way, PV. I find his posts to be almost spoofs because every one of them is simply filled with anger and rhetoric. But the "The anti-Christian, gun hating, anti-Americans in the Democratic party" is part of what brought down Rick Saccone. He made those really, incredibly, mind-bendingly ignorant comment the other night about the people voting for Lamb instead of him hating America and hating God. It blew up in his face.

I think you're spot on when you say the party is moving to the center. I hope that's the case - the party needs more appealing centrists like Lamb. No more Clintons, Pelosis and others like them. Local issues only, and go to the center.

I think the Republicans by the way have to do the same thing. They've gone way too far to the right, and that's hurting them already and will continue to hurt them.
