In the manifesto, Larson called Nazi leader Adolf Hitler a “white supremacist hero.” He urged Congress to repeal the Violence Against Women Act, adding, “We need to switch to a system that classifies women as property, initially of their fathers and later of their husbands.” He also showed sympathy for men who identify as involuntary celibates, or incels, suggesting it is unfair that they “are forced to pay taxes for schools, welfare, and other support for other men’s children.”

True. Which I know longer think the possibility of people like Kanye West winning is out of the question. But admitted pedophiles seems to be the one category of people that most everyone, including the most harden felons, hate.

Unless we actually are living in a simulation and the programmers are just toying with us at this point.

Trump has "normalized" positions that were previously taboo, thus, the NAZIs, fascists, misogynists and the guy in the OP are feeling safe to proudly display their patholgies to the world.

Having a president who has been openly unfaithful, not just to his various wives, but to the principles of decency the rest of us consider normal has emboldened the sickest, most vile members of the American right wing. I think many of them finally feel represented in Washington. For the rest of us, it looks a lot like this country has lost its bearings.

I will remind readers that there is a tradition of "believe/think whatever feels good" that the right wing has advocated by supporting the religious freedom to think crazy ****, without ANY intellectual standard or responsibility, and by attacking political correctness, which is really just the attempt at establishing a standard of consideration of others.

The things we're hearing today have been simmering in right-wing minds for decades. Now that a deplorable douche is in the white house, they feel liberated and are capitalizing on partisan loyalty of conservatives to test the waters for ideas that should have died out long ago.
 
I know there are some crazy people out there, but this guy is so disturbed it almost seems unreal.

Unfortunately there are still a good deal of people who would vote for him so long as he had the right Party letter (either R or D) beside is name, if he got the nomination. In fact, some people may even just claim that such statements were "taken out of context" or "fake media lying to discredit a good, God-fearing, conservative".
 
This is the kind of guy who should never be allowed to walk the streets under any circumstances.

Lock him in prison, place him under permanent house arrest....whatever! Just keep him the **** off the streets!
 
Somewhat off topic

If sexuality is something you are born with and out of your control, wouldn't it be wrong to judge someone based on that? This guy is obviously screwed up in the head, but playing devil's advocate, say there is a perfectly moderate Democrat that happens to be a pedophile (of course someone that hasn't acted on it as they would be in jail), would you vote for this person?

This guy actually advocates changing laws to be allowed to act on it freely, without prosecution.
