FBI Director James Comey requested additional money and manpower from Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein for the investigation into Russian interference in the presidential election just days before his firing, according to a U.S. official with knowledge of the situation. News of the request, first reported by The New York Times, came as Trump administration officials claimed that Comey's termination was unrelated to the investigation. Comey briefed some members of the Senate Intelligence Committee on the request on Monday.

Anything and everything are possible. But nobody that has followed American culture and politics could have believed that firing Comey could stop the FBI investigation. Not even this President could be that naive.

There almost has to be something more behind this.

Doesn't the justice department have authority over the FBI?
 
liberal partisans used to get away with stuff like this and have it batted back and forth for days.

Now lib lies have a shelf life of minutes at best

Actually some liberals will come out of a coma 20 years from now and swear comey was on the verge of arresting trump when he got canned
