College Football 2018-2019 Season

Talk about tangents. I said nothing about trying to derail alabmas success. I'm merely stating that a four team playoff is still too much of a man-made pick-em instead of letting them play it out. You brought up bama... not me. Sounds like you might be scared off it.

Also your tangent... NFL. WTF does the NFL have to do with anything I posted? Why aren't you addressing anything I said that you quoted. It's like you have this prewritten bot response already set to say no matter what anyone else says.

As far as you calling Division II playoffs "cupcake" in your previous post... probably tougher than any team bama has played so far this year.

I am just trying to educate you on the fact that College football is not the same thing as privately owned sports franchises and does not and should not go by the same rules. You want to turn College football into just a lower level of Professional football. These are student athletes who are going to school while playing football for two to four years. They do not owe you or me any playoff system. And what exactly would I be scared of? No matter what the system is, Alabama still wins and has ended up in most of the Championship games in the Saban era. I am a happy camper as an Alabama fan.

That's nice. Now let me educate you in the fact that I never said it should be run the same.

Can you possibly not straw man and actually address anything I said for a change? No one said "They owe me a playoff." I think a playoff system is better. That is all.

Apparently you are scared because I said nothing about designing a system to dethrone Alabama. You brought that up all by your silly little self.

I an not scared of anything other then death and taxes and perhaps the evil crooked Hillary Clinton ever becoming president. ;-). And I do not worry over anyone dethroning Alabama. They do not win every year and I do not expect them to. They are just an excellent program with an excellent coach, probably the best coach in college football. I love it when they do win, however I am just delighted that they are competitive year after year and are nearly always in contention for the championship. Alabama's success does breed resentment in those who do not care for the SEC. Nuff said. Have a great day.

So instead of acknowledging you were very VERY wrong by making up some cockamamy story about how it can't be done, you go insult the teams to prove you don't know what you are talking about even further.

It's far more exciting than what the FBS has to offer by far. If the FBS did this it'd make March Madness look stale by comparison.

Should just admit you're wrong when you are that wrong. But alas, you are who you are.
However I am not wrong. All teams are not equal or considered equal in college football. This is not the NFL where all teams start off on equal standing from division to division, conference to conference. Your scenario does in fact look like a cupcake convention. We will just have to agree to disagree. Have a nice day and......ROLLTIDE!!!!!!!!

More like Tide roll over cupcakes. The only team that consistently plays a majority of their games against top programs is Notre Dame.

Cupcake or not isn't the question. Post season structure is. You opted to smear smaller divisions as "cupcakes" because you were losing the argument of post season structure.

I am smearing nobody and you are failing to grasp the argument.

CF champ is never as legit as the mens NCAA BB champ. Why? Because everyone knows that the regular season college football schedule is a cupcake walk, and the playoff teams only have to win a few important games.

Yawn...............

P.S.......ROLLTIDE!!!!!!!!

Penn State has a nice Saquon Barkley successor in Miles Sanders! Their defense is going to have to step it up if they want to beat Ohio State though.

But, can OSU stop their offense? Nick Bosa, their best D player, is out. That won't help.

Michigan explodes.

39-0 over the Cornhuskers at the half.

OSU plays the mighty Green Wave from Tulane today. I have only one question.

Tulane has a football team?

Unranked Ducks are all over #7 Stanford in the first half.

Army at the Oklahoma 30 and driving 1 and 10.

3:30 to go.

Army threw an interception. Oklahoma marched right down the field to the army 10 and failed. It is a tie going into OT.

UK is about to upset Miss State.

21-7, late.

Army falls short. Damn... what a classic upset that would've been.

Kentucky takes down #14 Miss St. SEC East representing and pounding the SEC West.
