CNN guest calls CNN fake news

I gave examples in my post.. you ignored them...and rather than that, you pushed a false dialogue, without support. I save support of such fake news sites that certain right folks were enthralled with, such as 'abcnews.com.co' as being the orginal definition of fake news. You ignored that, and gave false information without support.

'THings I don't want to be true', and 'I have an opinon other than what it says', or 'errors from legit news sources'.​

Those aren't examples, those are just talking points the left is using to try and take the heat off their MSM partners.

The MSM has been caught working in collusion with the left to fabricate news, feed disinformation to the public, and slant/ignore news stories that don't favor their liberal partners. They print stories that are later discredited, and don't make any effort to correct the frenzy their original headlines created. One can only conclude that it's nothing but click bait, and it has a purpose beyond just ad revenue.

This fact is hardly debatable.

It shouldn't matter if one is liberal, conservative, or anywhere in between. This type of biased, deceitful, propaganda filled "reporting" should be rejected every time.

The history books are too full of examples where the mass media was used to deceive the public and bring about very dark periods in the history of mankind.

What is funny about fake news claims is Trump NEVER attacks Fox as fake. Fox has been busted many times, even recently, misreporting, failing to correct reports, and even being pressured by Canada on twitter to correct their report about the mosque shooter being muslim.

Trump and his supporters selectively cry about fake news. Your crying is not that you want intellectual integrity and truth, it comes from your hardline ideological views and inability to recalibrate your views when they fail.

I damn sure do, which is why I don't watch Hannity, he's a hateful hack. By the way, Hannity is not a reporter or news caster, while Don Lemmon is, unless you think otherwise?

You're wrong. The free press is supposed to be free to tell the truth, only the truth and nothing but the truth to the American public. That's what reporters are supposed to do. Instead, we're seeing the media become heavily biased (on both sides) and they're trying to spin a narrative instead of reporting the news. That's what people are objecting to. That's exactly what the guy on Lemon's show was objecting to and exactly why Don Lemon shut him down. It's why people like you either don't understand, or want to pretend you don't understand, what people are objecting to. Because the second you admit that the major news media in this country are all hyper partisan and biased, only reporting on stories that play into their political narrative, the news media suddenly becomes completely irrelevant.

I think Hannity is a douchebag. So is Limbaugh. I expect fair and honest reporting without bias from all actual reporters.

i wouldn't call him completely hard news; he does do commentary. however, you have a point that Hannity and Lemon don't exactly have the same job description.

Nice try. First, I haven't ignored any news source. Can't speak for any others.

Second, your whining about a cable news channel whos highest rated program is the O'Reiley Factor, which pulls 1/5th the viewership of the big network news broadcasts.

For the left, it's always Fox this, Fox that. Of course, that ignores CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, NYT, Washington Post, and on and on and on, all proven to have broadcast exaggerations or out of context lies to further the well deserved rankings as liberal news outlets.

Perhaps you are the one uncomfortable with the fact the sources you depend on are guilty of promoting the fake news effort.

No, you are in denial because you deny the history of your terms, and you deny the implications of your redefining of those terms. Rather than examine the history, you buy into the redefinition, which, in and of itself is a lie.

I don't think so. If there is a problem, it's that you are stuck trying to defend something that can't be defended. This "redefine" thing is just a meme trying to do that.

Fake news is fake news. For example, taking a sound bite and then presenting it a something that isn't remotely in line with what was actually said in context is fake news. It's not bias, it's not opinion, it's fake news.

The left's MSM partners were exposed of this effort via WikiLeaks and other means.

It's your problem that you refuse to accept this as fact.
