CNN anchor Ana Cabrera on Sunday called out President Trump for failing to go to Vietnam until he was equipped with "Secret Service protection" after the president renewed his attacks against late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).

Cabrera made the comments while noting that Trump has yet to forcefully denounce white supremacy in light of the mosque shootings that left dozens dead in New Zealand.

Bullies try to build themselves up by tearing other people down. Trump is a bully. And rich people don't brag about their wealth as Trump has. And he won't speak out to condemn white supremacists because they make up part of the base he depends on for reelection next year.

She also went through the disasters Americans have faced in the last few days and how he ignored it all preferring to attack McCain, SNL and defend Tucker and Jeanine Pirro. Ouch! It was sobering.
 
Trump should have took Nathan Phillips with him.Phillips would have loved to see Vietnam too.

It would clearly be a wise move on his part not to condemn white supremacists if they were a big part of his base. Obviously they are not! Even if he did condemn them do you really think they would vote Democrat? Trump isn't going to cave to this mob pressure to condemn or apologize.

I don't agree with your conclusion. You can have no idea why Trump has apparently decided not to speak out against white supremacists.

Nobody is saying he needs to apologize.... but for God's sake, he's the President of the United States!! Don't you think he should show some leadership and condemn such acts in the strongest possible terms?? These people - and I used that term lightly - who do these acts, or support and/or encourage them view the President's silence as tacit consent for their actions. All that is necessary for evil to prevail is for people to remain silent.... and our leaders need to make that point very clear.

Finally, it is not that there is danger of seeing white supremacists vote for Democrats. It is just that Trump has to make sure that the white supremacists are energized enough to come out and vote for him instead of sitting home during the election day. This is why it is important for him to keep them happy. After all, Trump cannot afford to lose many voters when his first victory could not even earn him the popular vote. But of course, you know these things..

RIGHT or WRONG, she showed exactly what is wrong with the media......CNN bills itself as a NEWS show...she is an ANCHOR...she is not an op-ed, not an opinionist, her job is to report the news, give all the facts and let the people, decide for themselves, how they feel about it, while giving backstory and insight.

When you show bias EITHER WAY, you lose credibility....
