I see complaints from my right wing brothers and sisters on DP all the time about how the "intolerant left" tries to "silence and harrass people with whom they disagree". What say y'all about this?

Here's a woman who has had her and her family chased out of her home and is receiving death threats, as did several of the women who came forward to accuse judge roy moore. When I it ok to terrorize people, only if they're democrats, right?

Are you really that dense? You haven't heard about people being attacked for wearing MAGA hats, or people repeatedly smashing cars into Fox News TV stations, or Republicans being harassed at home or in public places. And, of course the schooling of Steve Scalise while in a park practicing for a bipartisan baseball game never happened, right?

Not supporting death threats. I don't automatically believe that there were death threats to begin with.

People who don't support death threats, would, I assume, reserve judgement until they had the facts.
You have assumed she's lying, and if the threats are real, you're implicitly trying to get them to be ignored (based on your assumption without evidence that they are lies).
Of she's right, you are pushing that the very real death threats be ignored. What's worse, your position or your apparent inability to understand your own position? Scholars may one day debate that.

I think the SOL ran out since he is not more than 4 years older and they were both minors when it allegily happened.

There have been so many underhanded tactics used by the GOP, starting with the boxing out of Merrick Garland in order to stack the SCOTUS with right-wing ideologs totally out of touch with the needs of the common American and culminating with the latest cruel attacks on Kavanagh's accuser. This is why the GOP is losing support and why at least the house will swing back to the Dems in 2018.

I don't like the negative tactics of either party. Personally, I would love to see all parties disbanded - we elect representatives to voice our desires, yet they all change their toons once they get elected. The Democratic party seems the most vocal about upholding morals, yet refuse to accept responsibility when one of their kind commit the same (or worse) atrocities as a Republican. I don't like Republicans but witnessing the vile acts the Democrats have been pulling, there is no way I could vote of any of them.

The way the accusation was made, and all the, changing of her limited facts, draws me to the conclusion the reason she has not (and probably will not be allowed) to press charges, or testify to the Senate, is that it will be an act of perjury. It appears this whole situation was merely to prevent a Trump nominee - a pro-lifer - from becoming confirmed.

Both sides have despicable members, yet no one is held to account - unless its politically advantageous.

I can accept that its easier to be sympathetic if one has been abused/assaulted and would have a stronger desire to believe any other woman who claims to have had a similar experience. Your experience does not mean every woman has been sexually abused. Honestly state that no woman has falsely accused someone of sexual impropriety (of any/all type(s)). Bottom line is that an accusation is NOT proof of guilt.
