Christine Blasey Ford’s friend now says she’s skeptical of Kavanaugh accusation

Good for Leland Keyser for speaking up and setting the record straight. She's confirmed for me that Ford manufactured this story for a political agenda.

She has also clarified that she does not know Kavanaugh.
I'm betting Ford doesn't know him either.

I really hope that Christine Blasey Ford is investigated along with her crooked attorney who actually admitted that the testimony was to stop the nomination because she feared Kavanaugh would overturn Roe v. Wade.

What is most interesting is their persistent break with reality - the classical conditioning (ring the bell for the partisan drooling) generated by the NYT and demonstrated by the Democratic hopefuls in spite of a story that was pushed out the starting gate as a dead horse. For at least a few days the MSM and the Democrats breathlessly announced new impeachment efforts, warned of new difficulties for Trump, and characterized as "bolstering" prior allegations (Vox).

And how long did it take to debunk and make the NYT look foolish? 24 hrs?

First the NYTimes announced that relevant exculpatory facts were "inadvertently" left out. Then the authors blamed the editors. Now the NPR reports the critics have the upper hand after its been revealed the woman has no recollection of being a target as claimed by Stiers, a Clinton attorney.

Since then it has become increasingly clear that this new "story" was so weak that in spite of a year long investigation no new victims have been found, no new evidence uncovered, and if anything new exculpatory facts are revealed (e.g. ford's close friend at the time essentially saying her friends claim is a crock, joining Ford's father opinion of his daughter).

And yet - proving Pavlov's theory of conditioning - all the Democratic hopefuls (but Biden) issue new calls for impeachment within hours of a bogus effort.

And to drive that point home, the New York Slimes revive the already debunked and discredited sexual misconduct accusations against Kavanaugh.

We have multiple Democrat primary candidates who dismiss constitutional rights by executive order overreach with their gun bans, their no knock warrants with Red Flag laws (no due process), and presumed guilt rather than presumed innocence.

No, it isn't Trump that's the threat to our Republic. It's the Democrats and the political left, clearly. And yet, Rover, you bray on and on about impeaching, impeaching without grounds no less, so another example of presumed guilt.

Leland Keyser had an addiction/alcohol problem and didn't want to speak publicly, which is understandable. But she didn't seem to have a problem speaking to the book's NYT authors about her friend...

Keyser seems to believe her friend, Blasey Ford experienced some sort of trauma....but she doesn't remember how or why. There's enough there to spin for both sides where Ms. Keyser is concerned.

That said, I don't think we're any closer to the truth now than we were during the hearings. The book is proving to be a big nothing burger except to remind people what a sham the hearing and FBI investigation was.

So she knew some of those boys, but Kavanaugh's face didn't ring a bell.

And she also thought the circumstances around the alleged incident, the fact that Ford had been at a certain country club that day, the fact that it was a relatively small gathering, among other things, didn't ring right to her. So she initiated a second conversation with the FBI and reported all this to them, along with the fact that she had felt pressured to change her story by friends of Blasey Ford's and hers from high school.

It's interesting that you compare an attack on a government compound where our ambassador was killed and multiple U.S. security personnel to vague recollections of something that may or may not have happened at a high school party some 40 years ago or something. I mean...it's utterly stupid but interesting none the less.

The process WAS confirmed. Kavanaugh wasn't railroaded based on faulty or non-existent memories. His accuser had her say and a decision was made.
