Christian School Expels Girl for Wearing Rainbow Sweater on Her Birthday

You think schools should make rules which you agree with instead of rules they think are right? For example, if a Christian school supported prayer in their school, daily Bible reading, and worship of God but took stands against homosexuality, do you think they should be made to change their views or their rules?

could someone please decipher this post to identify the point marke is trying to make

I read their dress code policy and nowhere does it say that their dress code applies or/is enforced when off the clock and off school grounds. This isn't a strike against her, some admin asshole took offense to sweater personally and decided to teach her a lesson by ****ing with her,

You should file a complaint with management. I'm certain your layman lawyering for force them to their knees!!!

It promotes racism, hatred, nationalism stokes paranoia and class and tribal resentment. It's led by a venerated cult figure who is not only literally mobbed up, but is actively subverting and destroying the constitution and its limits.

It should be obvious to anyone familiar with twump's lifelong criminal history, mob ties and what his worshipers are eagerly willing to tolerate and promote.

its amazing that this thread gets diverted with TDS nonsense.

Maybe. Or maybe they just don't like her, and this would do.

What's worse is that they seem to suggest that she's a lesbian because they claimed there was two years worth of "lifestyle violations".

Nobody knows anything yet.

Agreed....well, except for the results. Given what is public information now, specifically the two years of violations, the specifics just minutia. Odds are strong that Kayla isn't going back there.

That seems to include smoking. As noted several times early this could include anything from heterosexual sex to skipping class to disrespect of teachers, etc.

Why call them lifestyles?

Why call them lifestyles?

Isn't smoking a lifestyle? Drugs? Premarital sex, regardless of preference? Ditching school? I'm sure you're old enough to remember the school "cliques"; the jocks, the nerds, the geeks, the Goths, the Emos, etc. Those are all "lifestyle" choices. Obviously this small Christian school accepts only one lifestyle: that of good, Christian students per the manual.....which means I'd have been tossed out too for non-conformance.

Jacobson didn't say that the two years' worth of conduct violation were all "lifestyle violations."

I can see smoking and doping up as a lifestyle. Sex? That's just a normal teenager behavior. Skipping school isn't a lifestyle. It's just being lazy or for some other reason. And you have a point about cliques. I could see being Goths or Emos would be a lifestyle violation.

any chance they are judging the lifestyle "violations" of the home/parents?

It makes sense to me. As a private school, it's the school's right to set their own rules. As posted before, if it was an atheist Socialist school they could prohibit religious materials on campus. If someone was caught with a Bible, that'd be a violation. If it happened multiple times, they could be expelled. As a private school, it's their right to do so.

I like a lot of the school's system of progressive discipline. For example, before you earn demerits, you are allowed two "silent lunches." And then there are "School Saturdays." My guess is that this student was proving intractable because there were many opportunities before she reached probation, which was where she was when this happened.

A good question. Possible, but then it was the parent's paying the money for Kayla to go there. OTOH, maybe Mom (wasn't she the one who posted the picture) was a little too liberal and mouthy for their tastes. Who knows? Still, and again, it's a private school.

i believe you may need to take another stab at it:

which do you think need to be changed:

Agreed. It's silly to claim to be a teacher then be so authoritarian any violation is the worst possible punishment. In this case, expulsion. Of course, in my day, it was bend over and grab your ankles while the Principle gave you multiple whacks with a cricket bat-like paddle.

look at those rainbow colors
clearly, this girl is gay and need not enroll in whitefield academy

rainbow colors must be gay.webp

What does this even mean?

Alford appealed the dismissal, saying she was told during her previous meeting with Whitefield officials that they were prepared to help guide her daughter through "this situation," and that her daughter has conducted herself in "a positive direction" since the meeting.
