see the 5th amendment. you are under no obligation to implicate yourself to a crime.
hence why it exists. trump doesn't have to prove himself innocent.

schiff has to prove him guilty.

hearsay, conjecture and speculation pretty much means schiff has nothing like we already knew he had nothing.

He has already implicated himself through the transcript he released.

Beyond that, it is very hypocritical and obviously flawed to argue that a witness is not reliable because he or she does not have first hand knowledge while ordering those who do to defy subpoenas.

legal definition of hearsay.

"hearsay" is testimony or documents quoting people who are not present in court, and hearsay evidence is inadmissible for lack of a firsthand witness. ... So, simply put, the hearsay rule says that secondhand testimony is not admissible in court.

Speculation:
To be a witness, a person must have perceived the matter in question, and they must remember it. If they do not remember, or did not perceive, the matter, then their testimony is speculation and it is inadmissible. This also involves thinking what someone else would think or do without ever talking to that person.
this involves 2nd guessing someone's motives and or thoughts with no knowledge of what they were actually thinking. IE 100% of schiff's questions.

George Kent testified that Burisma Holdings had been under Ukraine investigation for years and that US aid had always been held up for Ukraine pending assurances they were dealing with internal corruption. That is what Biden claimed to have been doing when he forced the Ukrainian president to fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma.

What has happened is that Trump asked Ukraine for info on American corruption in Ukraine which included the rumor that Hunter Biden was involved with the Burisma corruption. Joe Biden and democrats have taken Trump's legitimate request and dishonestly turned it into a political club designed to benefit Biden in the 2020 election.
