Chris Hedges "Fascism in the Age of Trump"

Hedges is one of the most important moral voices in the world; and very sadly, as your link shows, he appears guilty of plagiarism as well. It's a bit like the 'JFK was a great moral force in the presidency, who also had a problematic sex life' issue. Or the 'Martin Luther King was a great moral force who also had a problematic sex life' issue. Errors are bad, but don't undo the great things people do.

Fair enough.

But Hedges has lost a LOT of luster, as his transgressions were not unrelated ones in his personal life, but central to his professional conduct and credibility.
