Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about ...

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

Trashing Romney is all about Obama.

As for the gutter campaigns only come from Obama. Well when you show a video and tell the people Romney injected his wife with cancer, and he killed her. I suspect you liked that add.

wow you expose yourself with every post. this isnt about left right its about common sense but you cant help yourself to show your biased can you.

nonsense comes form both sides and the fact is the candidates arent even responsible most of the times

just like in this case, obama has nothing to do with that video and nonsensical to think so, its nonsensical for you to thnk I like any attack adds and its totally hypocritical for you to say obama is all about attacking Mitt when he is easily just as guilty LMAO

cant wit to read your next obvious hack post :D

should I blame mitt for this ad?

guess what i dont because im not a biased dishonesty hack LOL

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

I'm talking about a sick mindset that this video uses to startle people I to voting against Mitt Romney. The apologists are playing disingenuous.

Not that I don't agree with you that the ad is sick, I think the whole "socialist" and "marxist" scare that the right uses is tacky as well. The right uses ads to scare people into believing that the end of the U.S. will happen if Obama is re-elected.

The only difference that will come from this election is which side will carve up the governmnet cheese for it's own agenda. To think othewise is political ignorance.

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

It's better than the little zombies who sang "Mmmm Mmmmm Mmmmmm, Barack Hussein Obama".

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

Almost all the superpac ads are trash from BOTH sides, it doesn't mean either Romney or Obama endorses them.

There is another organization that exploits children for their own selfish needs, it's called religion and the right endorses indoctrinating children.

You telling me not one person on the left exploits children for their own selfish needs? It's called religion and the left endorses indoctrinating children, same as they indoctrinating children for political purposes.

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

Interesting you have not seen one of Obama's or his superpac adds trash adds. I guess those don't bother you.

i'm not in a swing state. the superpacs aren't running presidential ads here.

where do you come up with this fantasy, how can you be so dishonest and even suggest he said that the left doesnt exploit things, he specifically said BOTH SIDES and he used the word ANOTHER

LMAO just stop posting, your biased grows more with each line LOL

sorry sometimes i just cant help myself when people are so dishonest, i have to expose them. Its amazing sometimes that people are so blind to how woefully biased they are. ;)

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

This....is incredibly tacky. Now they're using children to spread divisive, hyperbolic, hateful rhetoric? I don't care which side put it out, or who the creators support, anybody who uses children as a means of manipulating the voting bloc is disgusting to me. I sincerely hope that this kind of ad is condemned by both campaigns. It's tasteless.

What do you mean "now?" This isn't a new tactic for anybody.

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

The left is getting really really spooky. How can anyone refuse to notice the totalitarianism behind the video is beyond me.

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

What part of BOTH sides do it did you not understand?

It's called religion and the left endorses indoctrinating children, same as they indoctrinating children for political purposes.

And you think the right doesn't do this as well? If not, why are you not complaining about BOTH sides doing it instead of criticising just one?

Can you show us a comparable video from the right? This video is downright spooky, man. Those children look like they're programmed or hypnotized. Scary.

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

That said, I hardly think "it happens all the time" is a good excuse. It's shameful whenever it happens, however often it happens, and for whatever reason it happens. When the children themselves are provided a script and a message and asked to perform for the camera it's the ultimate form of manipulation....not only of the children themselves, but also of the voting population.

I'm fine with it. One of the most common themes in American politics is the discussion surrounding the legacy we give our children. Every public policy stance is premised around the future generation, often pictured in terms of young people, both newly born and still developing. Children are fair game.

The outrage on each advertisement is also on a partisan basis. A Republican advertisement featuring children shocked at the future Obama has delivered to them is cried about by Democrats as "shameless" "brainwashing", a Democrat advertisement featuring children worried about the future Romney would give them is "Shameless" and "brainwashing."

Face it: politics is what it is. Embrace it with open arms. Don't give into the naivete of a "higher calling" when none exists.

You might have a point if there was a republican advertisement comparable to this one, but there isn't. Those are real children in the video, not a picture.

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

Truth be told there are adverts that are easily enough to find, but because of the lovely way Google and other search engines work to keep your mind in the present than the past, it's hard to find others like that. I recall, I believe, at least one Republican PAC ad where kids were used in similar ways, but it's hard digging through 3 years of talk to find what I'm looking for.

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing about

It's a stupid ad, but then again most political ads are. What I find the funniest about this though is that I really don't get why a few of the things mentioned are supposed to be bad.

For example the "gays can be fixed" comment. Yes, I get that it's supposed to be attacking the gay conversion therapies that don't actually work, but what if they came up with one that did? Why would that be bad? As long as no one was forced to do it, then I have no problem with a gay person who doesn't want to be gay any more getting the therapy and becoming straight.

"We don't have to pay for freeways." Why is this a bad thing?

And then there's just the stuff that's stupid and unbelievable.

"Strip mines are fun and free". Huh? I guess strip mining could be kind of fun. I can certainly see the appeal of blowing stuff up with dynamite and driving giant earthmoving machinery around all day, but I'm pretty sure they ain't free.

"Lots of Chinese stuff". I get the point that we shouldn't be importing as much from China, but we have lots of Chinese stuff now, so how is this supposed to be different?

"Find a park that is still open". Really? I didn't realize that closing every park in America was part of the Republican party platform.

Re: Children ‘of the future’ blame ‘Mom and Dad’ for electing Mitt Romney, sing

Stuff like that really annoys people because everyone knows the kids don't know what they are singing about other than told to sing the song.

Funny the righties don't have a problem doing the same thing with children while indoctrinating them with religion. Interesting double standard there.

Ah, here we go! It only took hours to find a similar video. I hate Google for making people think somehow the present is all that matters.

And here's another one from the same group.

You actually think children who go to church don't understand why they're there, which is why you're attempting to draw a comparison between religion and politics. Interesting. Clueless, but interesting.

They look like paid actors to me reading a script.

Not a doctored picture.
