Chaos In Minneapolis: Looting Occurring In the City, Tear Gas Being Used

Yes. Please explain the logic.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances

Looks like all those Somalians that the asshole Obama sent to Minneapolis are turning the city into Mogadishu.

A lot of white folks out there, probably not from Mogadishu.

Right-wingers are all in for people being armed to overthrow an oppressive government and then become upset when people actually act. Their devotion to the second amendment as a protector of freedom is just a self-serving rationale to support a rather ugly cultural trait.

The rioters are destroying private property. That isn't "overthrowing the government". It's an attack on the people. That makes them terrorists.

This doesn't explain how violence cannot be a form of protest.

The Boston Tea Party destroyed millions of dollars worth if property, and that was a protest.

The New York draft riot during the Civil War was violent.

Clearly violence is a form of protest.

Please explain.

Did the armed protestors destroy any property? It is clear that the "heavy police presence" that you reference followed the destruction of property, yet you wish to ignore that important fact.

The police station is not private property.

That is nonsense, in the case of the wife she did nothing wrong, the police officer did something wrong.

It is hilarious to see all you right wingers try and divert the attention from the real problem, systemic racism in the police.

Not at all. All 4 police officers should be arrested on murder/manslaughter charges.

that doesn't give these people that right to go burn loot and destroy other peoples property that had nothing to do with the incident.
this is why this type of nonsense is always a failure.

Dude, do you know what "peaceably" means? :lamo

Riots are a crime, not a form of protest.

It's irrelevant. If they aren't breaking the law. It doesn't matter.

It isn't irrelevant since it caused the legislature to shut down. You just don't care for the answer.

The police station is not private property.

your right it belongs to all people. so they are still destroying other peoples property.
if they want to trash something why not burn and destroy their own homes?

what does target have to do with anything?
what does 7/11 have to do with anything?

once again leftist can't make coherent logical reasoned arguments.

Dude, do you know what "peaceably" means? :lamo

Riots are a crime, not a form of protest.

Sit-ins and boycotts were/are illegal and they are forms of nonviolent protest.

You seem all mixed up.

It isn't irrelevant since it caused the legislature to shut down. You just don't care for the answer.

And no private property was targeted, or destroyed. These idiots could learn a lesson from the lockdown protests.

Geeeeees.....what a crock!

Burning down private businesses and property is not fighting against government oppression. They are hurting the very people who provide essential services, and employ the people who live around them.

Where do you get this stuff from?

Blacks going wild and rioting and looting again.

They do it quite often, don't they?

The destruction of private property was the focus of the Boston Tea Party.

Clearly violence is a form of protest.

You're comparing fighting for our national independence to that of a bunch of socialist street thugs that are looting "Target" in Minneapolis? I don't recall the Boston Tea Party participants looting the tea?

Black people are justifiably angry when in 2020, they still can’t workout in the gym or bbq in the park or jog down the street without being harassed or often murdered. Where was your outrage when that man was killed by the police? I’d say this thread reveals your true colours but actually your reputation precedes you on this board. Funny was what you say about police body cams when in fact now that everyone has a video camera in their pocket, racist cops and vigilantes are finally getting their comeuppance.

They are allowed to be angry and they are allowed to protest. They are allowed to march down the street and yell and shout.
THey are not allowed to burn down and destroy other peoples property.

this isn't a hard thing to understand.
it takes away from their message and focuses on something that they shouldn't focus on.

Target has nothing to do with what happened.

Sorry to burst your racist bubble, but whites were involved too.
