Trump is correct about the California fire preparations being totally insufficient. This statement by the California Firefighter's Union is just one more example of why public sector unions need to be banned.

He has ZERO expertise on this subject; the head of the California firefighters is a far more credible witness because of his inherent expertise without a reputation of dishonesty. At face value, this makes your above statement as wishful thinking, ill-informed and thus nonsensical. Perhaps you can build some credibility for this statement by A) showing an expertise in fire fighting and forest management or B) you can producing credible third party evidence to support this position.

Trump is under a lot of stress because America has let him down, this is not what he signed up for, he had no idea that civilization has regressed this much.....cut him some slack....fairness demands.....

You may be right to some extent, but the biggest problem with controlled burns is the subsequent air pollution. Besides having wildfire issues, California also has some of the most Air-Polluted cities in the United States.
