It doesn't matter. the statute he was relying on says nothing about intent. He also lied when he said it has always been treated like intent matters.

Oh and no, Comey never said it was written in the statute, but just excused himself from the argument by saying it was never interpreted to not require intent. Again, he was lying about intent always being seen as required.

Can you show where say, a state party chair led the GOP members in attendance to such crass behavior? What, you can't? Damn that would mean we're talking apples and oranges here. My example is party leadership and mainstream democrats engaged in crass behavior, yours is some non-influential group of dirtbags.

It's not a conspiracy theory that Comey was lying about the history of the interpretation of the statute. Frankly, he was either mistaken repeatedly or he was lying like I said. I'm going with the later since the former would make him a ****ing moron.
