Not at all. A substantial barrier, properly manned with both boots on the ground and technological surveillance, will cut illegal immigration significantly. The alternative is doing nothing and letting up to a million more in each year. That isn't an option.

So what? If 7 or 8 out of 10 ARE deterred, that's a huge improvement. All the excuses trotted out for doing nothing are rather absurd. Just a few years back, most all the Dems supported a wall or more substantial barriers. Now, it's "immoral" because Trump wants it.
