Brewer Calls Out Media “Hypocrites” re: Pelosi Finger Pointing

Prime example here. How dare then Gov Brewer pointing a finger at Obama. The usual media suspects said it was disrespectful and racist. The outrage in the media was off the rails. However, Pelosi pointing a finger at President Trump is the act of a patriot. You can't make this stuff up.

On Thursday, former Arizona Governor Jan Brewer questioned the double standard applied to conservative and progressive women after President Trump tweeted out a picture of Speaker Nancy Pelosi pointing her finger at him. Pelosi was praised by the mainstream media and progressive organizations, while only a few years ago, Brewer was excoriated for pointing her finger at President Obama.

Why was Brewer pointing her finger at Obama at the time? Why was Pelosi pointing her finger at Trump?

Context is everything. I have no trouble believing that Brewer was being disrespectful to someone trying to behave professionally, and that Pelosi was defending herself from an unprofessional bully. Barack Obama carried himself professionally and always tried to behave in a way that was above reproach. I saw it almost every day during his presidency with my own two eyes and heard it with my own two ears. Donald Trump is unprofessional, crass, and a bully who doesn't care to behave in a manner that would suggest that he is above reproach. I see it almost every day with my own two eyes and hear it with my own two ears.

If there is evidence to suggest otherwise. I'm all ears. Otherwise, it's safe to assume that Brewer was out of line in the first picture, and that Trump was out of line in the second.

If Donald Trump was an actual man with an actual man's toughness he wouldn't be TWEETING a pic of a mean girl pointing a finger at him in a meeting in an attempt to gain sympathy for himself.

Real men don't whine on Twitter about a girl pointing a finger at them. Hell, it happens every day.

Donald Trump isn't a real man though so we should expect that. And he's supported by supposedly real men from the South and Midwest.

Most Americans know that "a woman pointing her finger at a man" is not inherently disrespectful. Most Americans wouldn't decide one way or another until they had more information.

Brewer was pointing in Obama's face. Pelosi was pointing at Trump from across a large table.

Now why did you conveniently neglect to point that out in the OP? Oh yeah, that would ruin your partisan agenda.

"Act like a man"....sounds like toxic masculinity in your book. That moronic statement aside, a politician should most definitely do PR, especially when most of the PR is rabidly against you. That you take issue here is really of zero consequence because you'd take issue with anything Trump did, not matter what. That's why no one cares about ya'll freaking out all the time.
