Okay so because there were couple lawyers on the Senate floor arguing against impeachment, and because someone decided to kill a Iranian general there was no time left to prepare for an unknown virus, that no matter how much shutting of borders you do was going to eventually get here?

I know that is happening but it's not the norm. It's easy to focus on the bad and overlook the bad during difficult times. We've been away for the last week and had purposely let things run low before leaving; little did we know that a run on grocery stores would ensue while we were gone. So, it was a shock to find empty shelves, well not completely but … WOW! Fortunately we were able to replenish and restock a bit, it took a little creative shopping and menu planning but we won't starve; true, we keep a well stocked pantry of staples that will certainly be a huge asset in these times.

The store was busy but not out of the ordinary, if anything a little below normal for a Sunday afternoon. Everyone had a look of shock on their faces but through the shock they were smiling, amused at "a world gone mad". The point is I hope and want to believe that even though there is some "bad acting" going on by and large Americans are congenially getting by and getting along. What I saw was proof that there is a lot of US in the U.S., still alive in my fellow, resilient AmeriCANs.

Apparently WH Task Force considering a nationwide curfew for none essential's. That would be a mistake in my opinion.
