Precisely. And they did so all in the name of making ratings for their networks.
Their lemmings have all done a splendid job enabling them too.
This forum for instance? Their parrots are spreading the fear like a farmer spreads steer manure in his fields.

Yea Trump did. His lies about was headed toward pandemic and now pandemic are so obvious that he has freaked everybody out. Freaked out the stock market, freaked out the public. Didn't have to be this way. Yammering about 15 people with the virus and going to 0 in the face of everything going the other way and every scientist contradicting Trump led to a freak out. What else is new. If you have the biggest bully pulpit in the world and talk nonsense from it over an important issue you get FREAK OUT.

Hasn't ended yet either. Trump is still lying through his teeth and downplaying the need for a nationwide effort. Strangely enough, this would have been his best opportunity to for once draw the country together in a unified effort and as usual HE HAS BLOWN IT!

It appears on this like everything else to do with CV19, your only guidepost is, "If a liberal says it, he's WRONG!" and it's as dumb here as elsewhere on these threads. SAD!
