Blowback at Nike over Colin Kaepernick deal

You're confusing the difference between simply disagreeing with and demanding that one stop their protest. I disagreed with Kap kneeling in the venue that he did it in. I had no problem with him voicing his protest. I disagree with burning the American Flag, but I will support your Right to do so. And no, I disagree that the Confederate Statues should come down. They're pieces of art and a part of our History. However I will support anyone's Right to protest against them staying up. And I will support peoples Right to protest them being taken down. I will also support Nike hiring Kap as it is their Right to do so. I will also support those that Protest against Nike hiring Kap because they disagree with Kap's political views, because that is their Right.

People have got to learn, again, that it is perfectly OK to protest whatever it is that you want to protest. That it is OK to support ones Right to protest while disagreeing with their message.

They have also got to learn that simply peacefully protesting does not harm ANYONE. That people have a Right to say offensive things without being assaulted or peoples property destroyed. Destroy your property all that you want as it is YOUR property and you have a Right to do so. But don't destroy other peoples property as you do not have a Right to do so. And do not assault people as you also do not have a Right to do that either. Keep things peaceful and I will support your Right to protest even if I disagree with what you are saying or even the venue that you choose to protest in.

Nike is not in the money losing business. Colin Kaepernick first protested about two years ago. Dan Wolken @USA Today has a good opinion in today’s USA Today. Nike has had all this time to evaluate the outcome of their open support of Kaepernick. This not a knee-jerk reaction.

I've said this several times before in here but I don't know if you've ever read it... but that is the entire premise of the modern GOP. My scenario is:

Right winger blows his left leg off with a shotgun.
Left winger cries about man's loss of his leg.

ALL metal cans MUST be recycled for money 💴 not dumped into a ‘sanitary’ landfill. Our local schools are currently dropping this low-hanging fruit 🍎.

In 💯 years, what will they unload, beginning with landfills, as I’m already seeing in Iowa and Illinois now?

Picked in the afternoon, with a fair sized stub from the stalk attached, boiled just enough to make it tender to eat and then it's really sweet too.

The best.
