Re: Bloomberg says many "black and Latino males" don't 'know how to behave in the workplace,"

Bloomberg says many '''black and Latino males''' don'''t '''know how to behave in the workplace,''' in newly uncovered 2011 video | Fox News

Bloomberg's political baggage is the gift that keeps on giving.

I think it's pretty obvious that this point that Bloomberg doesn't like minorities very much (to put it mildly) yet you progressives are still going to vote for him?

State news propaganda. Hail to The Leader! We all kowtow to Fox News and believe their every utterance!

If your talking about what they say, Bloomer may be “ the lesser of the 2 evils” but if you look at action, Bloomer’s policies did much more damage to black youth. Trump’s policies of prison reform, empowerment zones and black unemployment at an all time low, has gained him traction with black voters.
I don’t think Trump can loose this November, regardless of who the democrat nominee is.
Trump enjoys low African American unemployment, but not because of policies that he enacted. Unemployment and African American unemployment have been dropping for nearly a decade. The rooster doesn't doesn't get credit for the sun rising, which would have happened without his crowing.

Meanwhile, The Trump administration rolled back Obama-era guidance on school discipline aimed at protecting black students from being punished more severely. DeVos delayed implementing regulations that helped identify racial disparities in special needs programs in public schools. Trump’s Education Department rescinded Obama-era guidelines for public schools to consider race in trying to diversify their campuses.

Trump’s DOJ has pulled back on Obama-era efforts to rebuild trust between community members and police, all while Trump has advocated a return to brutal policing tactics. Since African Americans are disproportionately targets of drug crimes, giving his DOJ wider latitude to pursue criminal drug charges and harsher sentences hurts AAs disproportionately. The same with Trump’s DOJ reinstituted the death penalty and advised federal prosecutors to seek death sentences in cases involving large quantities of drugs.

Whether Trump loses or not is undermined. He won the first time by receiving 80,000 votes spread over three key states. He's underwater in all of those key states by fair margins.

A Trump supporter is trying to give a lecture on bigotry and hypocrisy? :lol:

I can't take it seriously either. I read a Fox article trashing Ana Navarro because she tweeted something mean about Stephen Miller. They're saying, "See? You're garbage people just like we are," as if that is to their credit. The race to the bottom that gives them limitless joy continues.

Let me reassure you:

Progressives aren't getting behind Bloomberg.

Let me reassure you, yes we are.

Re: Bloomberg says many "black and Latino males" don't 'know how to behave in the workplace,"

Whatever. The claim that Bloomberg is a "huge upgrade in character" over Trump is clearly false. It doesn't really matter anyway, because the fact that so many Democrats are willing to vote for someone as racist and sexist as Bloomberg shows that they really don't care about bigotry in the slightest bit, and all the pearl-clutching and outrage regarding Trump over the past few years was all just an act.

Don't you find the conjunction of

  1. "There is no racism or sexism in America today.";
    *
  2. "The only racists or sexists in America today are Republicans." (the 'official position of the "Democrats" [whatever that means]);
    *
    and
    *
  3. "The only racists or sexists in America today are Democrats." (the 'official' position of the "Republicans" [whatever that means]);

to be absolutely hilarious?

Re: Bloomberg says many "black and Latino males" don't 'know how to behave in the workplace,"

No, I just don't feel the point is worth arguing. Bloomberg is a bigot, and that is a fact. If Democrats are going to vote for a bigot, then the issue of bigotry really isn't that important to them after all.

If your observation is correct, and since the "Republicans" (whatever that means) are already committed to "vote for a bigot", that means that around 80+% of all Americans simply don't care about whether or not their nation is led by a bigot - doesn't it?

I will also add that with each passing day it seems a new Bloomberg blunder emerges and provides us with insight as to what kind of a man he really is.

I agree that with each passing day a new item taken out of context and deliberately slanted comes out about just about EVERY candidate. This is what is known as 'The ***A*M*E*R*I*C*A*N*** Way' and has almost totally displaced any rational discussion of either the problems facing the country or the solutions to the problems facing the country.

Of course, when you have a "Presidential Election Season" that is approximately 2,861 days long

(it isn't considered polite to start running for the office between "Election Day" and "Inauguration Day" unless the office holder is statute barred from running again)

you do have to work at finding stuff that will keep your preferred person's name up in lights - don't you?

Let me reassure you:

I, for one, will stay the hell home if either Bloomberg or Biden end up the Democratic nominee. If Democrats are dumb enough to nominate either of those two, they deserve another four years of Trump's idiocy.

And if you are "dumb enough" not to get off your butt (either to influence the candidate selection or to vote) then you "deserve another four years of Trump's idiocy" as well - don't you?

However, I am quite prepared to take you at your word that you will not bother to vote if the Democratic Party nominates either Mr. Bloomberg or Mr. Biden. In fact I will take you so much at your word that, if that happens and Mr. Trump is re-elected, I will completely dismiss any complaints that you have about Mr. Trump's actions during his second term.

Last place I worked at the company had to issue a memo stating that it was okay to flush used toilet paper down the toilet. Apparently for people from Mexico it is a custom to either throw soiled feces covered toilet paper in the restroom waste can... or just on the floor.

Maybe this is what mini Mike was referring to about the work place?

" Trump signed the most consequential criminal justice reform bill in decades and is presiding over an economy that has delivered rising incomes and jobs to even the most vulnerable Americans, like ex-felons. The poverty rate is at the lowest level since 2001 and fell last year by 0.9 percent among blacks. Black unemployment is at record low levels and in recent years, gains in median household income for blacks have exceeded those of whites in most metropolitan areas."
"In sparring with the four progressive women of color in the House known as the “squad,” Trump may have offended liberal editorial writers, but it is unlikely he lost much support from black voters in Georgia. Research cited by the Times shows that over the past few decades, “The African American electorate has been undergoing a quiet, long-term transformation, moving from the left toward the center on several social and cultural issues.”
Further, WSJ/NBC polling shows “the percentage of white voters describing themselves as very liberal or liberal is roughly twice as large as the percentage of black voters who do so.”
"The Emerson poll showed 34.5 percent of black registered voters supported the president, up from 17.8 percent a month earlier. The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 8.3 points. Rasmussen showed the president with 34 percent approval from blacks." https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/liz-peek-trump-black-voters

It doesn't seem like the African American voters are falling for the same old "Republicans are all racists" narrative that the left has used every election cycle. They're not buying it anymore. Looks like at least 30% of them are asking themselves if they're better off than they were 4 years ago. That's all I would ask all voters, just like Reagan did years ago. If you're better off, vote Trump, if you're not, vote for the democrat, and let the chips fall where they may. JMHO

Bloomberg is the Trump of the left. He is everything you hate about Trump and the fact that you support him just shows that all your liberal preening ofver the last three years was just BS. The only reason you hate Trump is that he isnt on your tribe. You are more than happy to have Bloomberg be your racist, sexist pig authoritarian leader. #liberalshavenostandards

I wouldn't say that. Some liberals have low or no standards. Just like Trump supporters. I'm amazed that so many of them (Trump supporters) think they're scoring a point by saying, "I knew they were ****ty people just like us. Now you can't complain about Trump anymore while we bitch about Bloomberg as if anyone takes anything we say about these things seriously anymore."
