Fast forward to about the 19 minute mark...

And then this...

There was a better video, more in-depth regarding the second part perhaps someone has a link handy...he's afraid he might get killed.

Live by the sword, die by the sword...just don't be a wimp about it....jeeeeeze

I'd be ashamed to associate with this jerk.

Amazing what you find under Hoods these days. :lamo

Bark is inverse to bite in most cases.

The reason is simple: if you've got a big bite, you don't need to bark.

It's not that different from "back in the day!"

Might depend on how far back you go.

Nathan Bedford Forrest was a tough hombre. Battle hardened too. And probably nearly fearless. Kind of like the New York mobster, Greg "The Grim Reaper" Scarpa. But both of them might--possibly--be burning eternally in the roaring fires of hell. So, in a certain sense it is better to be meek, remorseful, and full of fear.

In best case: one is nearly fearless because of their faith in God but meek and kind with others, particularly those weaker or more vulnerable than them.

On the other hand... God can use (and has) rough men to face off against other violent men like Nathan Bedford Forrest and Greg "The Grim Reaper" Scarpa.

I'll freely admit I'm not as tough as President Andrew Jackson was. But then how many alpha male US Presidents today are? So, since I'm not along their alpha ranks I can't be accused of falling too far from their American tree anyways.

But again... one can overrate being "tough" anyways. There is more to life than that.

I hope for this Charlottesville dude that he does not end up in a prison with some Aryan Brotherhood. I'm thinking they won't be to happy with him.

Might give him new understanding of 'practice what you preach'.

Maybe. I think he has had a desire to bully others--certain "minorities"--if he could be blessed in a position of power (e.g., superior numbers, cops and courts behind him et cetera).

He miscalculates what his perceived "whiteness" connects him with. In terms of all white men perceived as strong and smart. Not all of them identity with him or some of the other white men that were marching.

White men like this that came from their own racist Northern cultures. Or Southern Missouri culture in Kansas City. And some of them were some very serious men.

They were racist against both blacks and Jews. The Chicagoans probably worse than the Milwaukeeans. The Milwaukeeans had business dealings with the local blacks. I think that was less so in Chicago. And even if the Milwaukeeans would have used the "N word" privately among themselves... they would have been unlikely to tolerate a white man, let alone a hillbilly, addressing an attractive black woman or black Latina with the "N word" to bully her. They placed a value on speaking a certain way--with respect--to women be they white, black, brown, red, or yellow. At least many of them. Possibly not all. I in party get this impression from having spoken with some black men and black women from that era locally, who had some interactions with those people however briefly.

I guess due to Charlottesville this Latina went--somewhere, I assume down South--to interview this Klan leader. He's trying to bully this woman by calling her the "N word."

Not Appropriate for Work or School or Family Setting etc. Racial Curse Word Used:

So, circa year 2017 the black Latina is being spoken to in a different tone regarding her race than how a future Black-American female TV star was spoken to decades ago by another white male leader--of a Northern faction.

Remember Star Trek and the actor who played Lieutenant Uhura of the crew of the Enterprise? Her real name is Nichelle Nichols and in her autobiography described a couple of brushes with the Chicago and Milwaukee mobsters...

The next night the club’s owner came to the dressing room, Frankie Balistrieri. Nichell described him as small, stocky, yet always impeccably dressed. Frankie introduced himself and said: “I understand from Louie that we’re having a problem.” Nichelle: “I don’t have any problems, I go upstairs every night, do my two shows, then I go home.” “Yeah, I know,” he said patiently, then proceeded to explain to me what my job really was. “So you see, that’s how we do it here.”

“I’m sorry”, Nichelle replied. “I don’t B-drink and I don’t play B-bars. My agent told me this was a legitimate supper club.” “But I want you should do this,” he said gently as he calmly cracked each knuckle.

After going back and forth for awhile, with Nichelle asserting that she was raised by good parents, didn't drink, didn't smoke and had a young son to raise, she threatened to leave if that’s what Frankie expected of her.

Frankie stood there silently, looking at her. “Okay,” he said at last. “You’re bringing in lots of customers. They like you, so it’s okay. You always mind you mother and father, you will not go wrong. Anybody tells you anything, you tell ‘em to talk to Frankie Balistrieri. I like ya. You got class kid.” “Thank you”, said Nichelle.
