Trump has a hardline stance on immigration. It's an economic argument, nothing to do with racism. And judging from our economic numbers before the pandemic, Trump was right.

If Canadians started to come pouring across the Northern border, he would try to build a wall up there too.

He is sensitive about people coming here and then trying to change the way we run the country. I'm not defending this 100%, but it has nothing to do with racism. Nationalism is a legitimate political stance, it exists in other nations all over the globe, as has throughout history.

I'm not extensively familiar with Stephen Miller, but I can't find anything online indicating that he is racist, only that he has a hardline stance on immigration.

IF Trump allowed Europeans into the US at the same time the Chinese were banned— and I certainly won’t take your word for that— it just might be because at the time, no one anywhere knew that the Communists had allowed their citizens to travel, thus spreading the disease to Europe and the Americas.
