More important than the national like/dislike is how independents feel about Trump. History has shown that on average 90% of those who identify themselves as Republicans and or democrats will vote for their party's candidate regardless of who it is, whether the candidate is good, bad or indifferent. Now independents are all over the place, I'd prefer to call them swing voters. It's a fact that the Republican Party is still the smaller of the two major parties, so winning the independent vote is a must or the GOP, Trump and company will lose the election. So as far as independents go, the swing voters, the non-affiliated, 20% like Trump somewhat to a lot, 43% dislike him from somewhat to a lot. Since people usually don't vote for someone they dislike, I'd say Trump is in trouble both nationwide and with independents. The latter a must win group for Trump if he is to gain reelection.

My guess is that a number of people that worked for Trump, in higher levels and on down-the-line, well help Biden fix all the things that Trump broke. It's the people that have been just waiting Trump out.
