Biden lowers inflation to 3.1%

Trump sucks... get over it!

The President that navigated a collapse in financial markets. Your narrative has no power.
Looks like you might be telling Trump sucks! until Jan 1929.
Hope you can vary your epithet to avoid looking tedious.

Presidents don’t control the economy because they can’t. The only time they could was literally in the few years of us being a nation, when we were still trying to figure out capitalism and how to get the rest of the world in on it.

Presidents can influence (not control) effects of the economy. Congress actually has a greater impact on the economy, but again, cannot control it.

As dictated by the rules of capitalism.

In order for a president to control an economy, he has to be, at the very least, a socialist, or a dictator, or a communist.

So, when you blame Biden for the economy…you are essentially stating that you find fail in him for NOT being a socialist, dictator or communist.

So, when you give credit to Trump for a good economy…you are essentially stating that you are good with him being a socialist, dictator or communist.

Or vice versa.

When inflation was climbing, it was Biden's fault. Now that inflation rate is falling, it has zero to do with Biden.

Seems as if the Biden haters want it both ways.
Inflation went up because trump flooded the economy with free cash and put pressure on powell to cut interest rates fast. Biden reversed trumps ways and lowered inflation

Looks like the GOP with all their media megaphones are losing this battle as well.

All good news in the economy yet people still think it sucks. The gop has been very good with their brainwashing.
Yes, most Americans think the economy sucks as you put it. You can see that here with Biden’s approval on his handling of the economy and inflation.

The reason why is that most Americans still see prices rising in pretty much all sectors of the economy. The cost of food, shelter, healthcare etc. is much higher today than when Biden first took office. Since presidents take the credit for a good economy, Biden is going to get the blame for a bad one. One thing to keep in mind is once the economy turns around and starts improving, it takes 6 months to a year before the people actually see the improvement, a drop in prices if that even occurs. Until then, yes, most Americans will say and feel that Biden’s handling of the economy, inflation sucks as prices of all goods and services were lower when Biden first took office and continue to rise today.

Lowering inflation to 3.1% means nothing to most Americans as long as the price of milk, bread, eggs, housing, cloths, etc. continue to rise.

The US is on an "unsubstainable fiscal path." The current reflection of the economy is a result of the end of Covid lockdowns and massive government spending. This will play out tragically in the future.

A positive inflation still means prices are continuing to rise. People don't care about percentages, they care about how much groceries cost.

If you're expecting deflation then you're going to be upset for a long, long time.

But corporate greed is good.
Companies need to screw people as much as they can at all times and max out profits at all costs or the shareholders will revolt.
