Biden Did Not Mean There Is No Diversity In African Americans

From the article:

Members of Jared Kushner's coronavirus task force considered a national-scale testing plan early in the US's coronavirus outbreak.

However, according to a new Vanity Fair report, the plan never came to be, partly because the task force thought it would be better politically to hold off.

Kushner COVID-19 plan axed because virus hit Democrats worst: report - Business Insider

Kushner is a political genius. Do you know he and Ivanka have plans to run for President. These people are unbelievable

As is Pompeo, from what I've heard. "Vote for us. Everything we touched turned to ****."

Biden is getting a bad rap in the news alleging that he really means that African American's have no diversity, like the Hispanics .
Biden faces backlash for comparing diversity in African American, Latino communities - ABC News
And we know that is not what he meant because Biden has already made it very clear that among African Americans there are some that are not even Black:
Do'h !

You can't get much more diverse than having black people who are not really black .
Ka-Boom! Baby !

Who cares if he says they're not as diverse a community? Is that bad or something? Jesus, people have all got the worst damned case of PMS I've ever seen. The majority of the black community are AMERICANS, have been here a coule hundred years at least and have no knowledge of what country they were stolen from or any memory of its culture or language. What the slaves and free blacks did was create their own American black identity and customs, because they were forced to by the situation they were in. That's different, as Biden noted, from Latinos who have come here from dozens of countries with very different ways.

It's not awful not to be diverse.

No actually I haven’t voted very much before. I’ve never been as politically active as I am right now, and that’s because Donald Trump was elected and his supporters cannot hold him accountable for anything. Nobody should consider that normal. I don’t care who you vote for, you should always hold the people you elect accountable.

As for the one up manship, it’s worth the lulz. If you just want to complain and say the whole political process is nonsense and you’re going to constantly vote for the GOP, then why are you even here?

But you've been a member of a political debate site since 2010.

Also from the article:

In March and early April, Kushner, a senior White House adviser, led a task force, parallel to the White House's official efforts, to devise a plan to accelerate coronavirus testing and supply chains nationwide.

Ultimately, that was abandoned, and President Donald Trump shifted much of the responsibility for controlling outbreaks to individual states.

Great.

That perfectly leftsplains how Trump killed 163,00 people.

Thanks, Cardinal.

A public-health expert who was in regular contact with Kushner's team told Vanity Fair's Katherine Eban that political reasoning may have influenced the decision.

"The political folks believed that because it was going to be relegated to Democratic states, that they could blame those governors, and that would be an effective political strategy," the unnamed expert said.

The expert also said the final call would have been Kushner's. "It was very clear that Jared was ultimately the decision maker as to what [plan] was going to come out," they said.

Korea didn't have to shut down, didn't have to pass two stimulus bills that cost trillions of dollars, and very few people have died in Korea.

We could've asked them to teach us how to handle the virus. They are our allies after all.
People in South Korea can get swabbed for testing in drive-thru clinics, which can reduce the burden on hospitals and reduce risk for health workers. A biotech company in the country developed a test within three weeks, according to CNN.
Another factor in how South Korea is dealing with the situation is that the government is making information public. For example, the GPS locations of people confirmed for COVID-19 is available on an app so that others can avoid those areas. As questionable as that may be from a privacy standpoint, it may help people feel informed and in control of their health.
South Korea has also been practicing social distancing to try to stem an increase in cases. With a population of about 51 million people, they’ve closed schools and offices and canceled large gatherings. There are thermal imaging cameras at entrances to buildings and people in costume in public spaces reminding others to wash their hands, according to BBC.

Population of Korea: 51 million
Population of the US: 328 million

You need a better comparison.

"Both President Trump’s advisers and operatives laboring to defeat him increasingly agree on one thing: The best way for him to regain his political footing is to wrest control of the novel coronavirus.

In the six months since the deadly contagion was first reported in the United States, Trump has demanded the economy reopen and children return to school, all while scrambling to salvage his reelection campaign.

But allies and opponents agree he has failed at the one task that could help him achieve all his goals — confronting the pandemic with a clear strategy and consistent leadership."]

I used to argue with people about voting for somebody you didn't like, because there are other parties. I was also not registered for a few different reasons until recently. I live in a deep red state and never thought my vote mattered or made a difference, but we have huge protest movements now.

As I said, seeing Trump elected really changed my previous attitude. It may revert back to be less active in the political process, but I doubt it. I have lost a lot of trust in my neighbors and fellow citizens.

If Biden decided to let you die because you were just a conservative, and 163,000 Americans died as a result, is there anything I could say that would convince you to vote for him?

I wouldn't stoop to the level to use such hyperbole to convince others of my position.

Trump is the most loathsome human being to ever hold the office of President, in my estimation. No denying it.

He has, however, exposed what is something even worse, IMO. A bad President can be held in check. A bad foundation that never has to worry about being "voted out" cannot be.

Again... the "leftsplanation" as to how Trump personally killed 163,000 people is outstanding.

It really is.

Trump’s shortcomings have perplexed even some of his most loyal allies, who increasingly have wondered why the president has not at least pantomimed a sense of command over the crisis or conveyed compassion for the millions of Americans hurt by it.

People close to Trump, many speaking on the condition of anonymity to share candid discussions and impressions, say the president’s inability to wholly address the crisis is due to his almost pathological unwillingness to admit error; a positive feedback loop of overly rosy assessments and data from advisers and Fox News; and a penchant for magical thinking that prevented him from fully engaging with the pandemic.

You really delivered the goods with this one, Cardinal.

Trump's a murdering sociopath.

What biden said is true politically. Blacks vote about 90% Democrat and about 65% Latinos vote democrat. Why is it controversial to point out that reality?

Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Because he used the word "diversity." Obviously he meant party affiliation. People got triggered, stupidly. Biden made a generalization about blacks -- not allowed to do that any more. Even if it is a mathematical fact. Blacks mostly vote Democrat. Hispanics not as much.

I have no reason to defend Biden. But the stupidity that occurs around language and logic knocks me out these days.

So if Biden wins like the democrats keep claiming he will, who is going to interpret all the crazy stuff Biden says into what he was supposed to mean. Someone will have to do that because most of us tend to think he means what is coming out of his mouth.

In recent weeks, with more than 145,000 Americans now dead from the virus, the White House has attempted to overhaul — or at least rejigger — its approach. The administration has revived news briefings led by Trump and presented the president with projections showing how the virus is now decimating Republican states full of his voters. Officials have also set up a separate, smaller coronavirus working group led by Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus response coordinator, along with Trump son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner.

For many, however, the question is why Trump did not adjust sooner, realizing that the path to nearly all his goals — from an economic recovery to an electoral victory in November — runs directly through a healthy nation in control of the virus.

Doesn't really matter. He'll appoint qualified experts to head the necessary departments and institutions. Or maybe he'll step down after he's sworn in and the VP takes over. Either way, who cares?

You perfectly leftsplain why Trump is fast approaching the status of historical giants like Mao Zedong, Stalin, Hitler, and Pol Pot. I never would have realized it was as bad as it really is.

Thank God for anonymous sources.

There's a law against you trump supporters ever saying 'if the other side did it'. Get back to me when you have addressed thousands of 'if Obama did what trump did', from sleeping with adult models as his wife gave birth and illegally buying their silence before the election and lying about it, to saying he fell in love with Kim Jong Un, to taking the side of a leader who paid to kill US troops.

Case in point ^^ try zinc oxide for chafing

“The irony is that if he’d just performed with minimal competence and just mouthed words about national unity, he actually could be in a pretty strong position right now, where the economy is reopening, where jobs are coming back,” said Ben Rhodes, a deputy national security adviser to former president Barack Obama. “And he just could not do it.”

Many public health experts agree.
