Best revolver in your opinion. 1950 to date.

That's why I figure there's no "best" revolver... what works for someone best is what works for them. I think revolvers are more "personal" that way.... automatics seem more impersonal to me - kinda "one size fits all".
With a revolver, you can find the one that fits you instead of you fitting the gun.

Daughter felt the same way; and her hands are a bit too small for most semi automatic slides......M&P makes a nice EZ slide, but she felt more comfortable with the revolver.

Your daughter sounds like someone I wouldn't want to cross... and not just because of the revolver. ;)

She is an ornery little tomboy....just like her mother.

And she'll always be Daddys delicate little flower.....even when she is making tight shot groups with her Judge.

The point that you brought up automatics?

I think I nailed it.

You're trying to bully around another poster because you think you can get away with it. That"s a cowardly move. Should we expect any less? Nope!

*L* Just like her mother, huh?

How many times did you get caught in the middle of those rows?

I reached the age that I have by prudently not getting between Lady Bum and Baby girl Bum when the two decide to bump heads. ;)

Its an inborn survival trait in my family.

*L* No use getting older if you don't get wiser.

I survived Iraq and Afghanistan; it would be rather embarrassing to end up in a shallow grave in Lady Bums vegetable garden. :peace

*L* It's not the vegetable garden I'd be worried about... it's the compost heap.

How about a revolving composter? Let's keep on topic.

j/k Sorry Fled, couldn't resist.

So, no real love for the Ruger Blackhawk? The Single Six?

I think I mentioned that I have a Single Six. Stainless convertible. It's nice enough but it will never be my favorite. My feelings are that it lacks a certain undefined character compared to S&W.

The official service pistol for the British military during the Second World War was the Enfield No. 2 Mk I . 38/200 calibre revolver.
Cartridge: .455 Webley Mk II.45 ACP
Manufacturer: Webley & Scott, RSAF Enfield
Calibre: .455 (11.6 mm)
Action: Double/ Single Action revolver

Is it your contention that the Webley was issued in both .455 and .45ACP? Or are you trying to say the cartridges are interchangeable? You also appear to be confusing the 1915 issued MKVl in .455 with the later Webley from WWll in .38

The Webley MK Vl was issued in the anemic .455 and post WWl many of these guns had the cylinder shaved to accommodate the more powerful .45 ACP used with a half moon clip. They weren't very accurate with .45ACP as the bullet is quite a bit smaller in diameter than the .455 and just rattles down the barrel.

Your posts are often all over the place and none of it accurate. You really don't know much about guns.
