When her best and most repeated words are "How dare you" it's obvious that her argument isn't coming from place of intellectual thought, but more like a realm of false moral outrage. Just because she's a child and is being touted as some sort of herald by the left, does not in fact guard her from criticism. It was a truly idiotic notion to sail on a boat, in place of taking a flight. Because the recourse had to be wasted to make the boat, to stock it, and then people had to flown out to sail the boat back. So her hollow, ill thought out gesture was for naught. If all of this happening is really just her doing. Then she quickly proved herself to idealistically stunted, morally withdrawn from the people around her and stubborn to reason. Just because she's who she is, does not protect her from being wrong.

So if you want to shovel more of that faux outrage my way, the so be it. I'm just being blunt about the situation that this girl is not someone that the left, nor anyone else should haul up on their shoulders. No, actually, it isn't. COP25 was planned to be held in Chile, and she had planned her schedule to make it there on time. Due to political unrest in Chile and the difficulties in finding a new location, it moved to Madrid only 1 month before it starts. We should note that she's not the only person caught out, as delegations from numerous nations also now need to change their plans.
