Bernie's town hall

I liked Bernie's response to a question about healthcare, specifically when the hosts asked the audience how many of them get healthcare from their employer...and Sanders held his hand up too.
In addition to that, I noticed when asked how many have private health care, X amount raised there hands, then when asked and how many of you would be okay with giving that up, and twice as many hands went up. Pretty telling of who’s in the room.

I suppose it’s possible the attendees didn’t understand the question...but I doubt it.

If right wingers would listen there would be no misunderstanding.

No one gives a **** or likes their insurance company. They like their doctor.

Not the company. The doctor.

End private insurance. It's a racket.

I like mine, they’ve been great to work with, my old doctor on the other hand was a dip stick, so I quit him.

No one likes their insurance company. You'd be the first. People care about their doctor.

Or just give people the option. The public option vs the private insurance on the ACA market. Let's see what people go for shall we?

Oh yeah, we’ll let me be the first to tell you, **** *** ** ******* *** ***.

My home town and place of work. Glad to see fox hosted it here, the corpse of American greed, which ruined the lives of American workers at bethlehem steel and those of us who were for the longest time forced to work ****ty positions because those bethlehem steel employees had to continue working thanks to their pensions being sold out.

Sanders did an excellent job. Baier is a solid interviewer but he looked a little... rotund. Maccallum was fair. They asked hard questions and Sanders killed it.

Sanders 2020.

The Bern.

Feel it!

:)

Interesting strategy by Bernie of doing the townhall on Fox after the DNC said they wouldn't have any debates on there. That could make him look more confident and appealing in the eyes of some Fox watching independents and anti-Trumper Republicans.

I think there are plenty of people who would be willing to give up their current healthcare for something better and less stressful to manage, which is what M4A presents itself as.

At least Bernie’s up front about taking your money.

He's been campaigning hard in red states for years. Selling his notion of Medicaid for all in Appalachian states like West Virginia.

Don't pretend like you know a damn thing about Bernie's policies beyond con talking points.

By all means continue. We all want to see you scream SOCIALIST!!!!!! at the top your lungs.

I'll tell you what... go google what Rush is saying about him so you know what you want to say here.

You don't understand what policy is, do you?

Amazon being taxed appropriately is a big deal. Tax policy is real policy.

Only folks who voted for Donald would think differently.

The opposite actually. Trump supporters would believe things so broad to be policy. Sanders inability to pass much of anything that he has proposed shows he cannot actually get anything passed. Once again, saying that Amazon should pay their fair share does nothing to promote actual policy to ensure they do. Its easy to say. Much harder to actually do.

He's a liberal senator in a republican majority Senate who worship trumps toilet paper.

Maybe you meant the opposite?

Seems to me that Trump supporters believe and defend whatever Trump says or tweets, and that changes constantly. It passed the level of absurdity long ago. Need examples? We could start with that big, beautiful wall that Mexico will pay for and go from there...

Oh I forgot that he has only held that position during Trump's presidency! Thanks for reminding me!

That's what I said

Bernie, the million dollar man, fighting for YOU.

Lol! The far left's idiot who keeps on giving.

Can you answer my question rather than attempt to deflect with trying to define things that I didn't ask you to define?

What's the matter? Too many big words in there for you? I gave you the answer you needed to have because it was readily apparent that you have not a clue what socialism actually is other than some purposely misleading Fox News, GOP talking point that paints a ridiculously false narrative.
