Bernie is steamrolling in fundraising without begging Trump’s billionaire donors for scraps. He has the most grassroots support, the most diverse support, and the loyal support. He’s extremely popular with the Democratic base. He has enthusiastic support. In addition, Bernie is popular in Trump country. Trump has nothing on Bernie because he’s not corrupt. He can’t run to to left of Sanders like he did Hillary. Short of Bernie’s ticker failing, I can’t envision a scenario in which he doesn’t whip Trump easily. He just has to wrap up this nomination. Let’s be real, Corporate Dems won’t take this lying down.

If beating Trump is priority #1, Bernie is the one to bet on. He has the resources, the popularity, the support, and is a social democrat in the mold of FDR.

False talking point.
Most Trump campaign donations are pouring in from small donors.

Bernie will never be the Democratic Party's nominee.

Bernie broke the record for most individual donors and is doing it in a crowded field.

I don't care what record he broke. I countered the O/P's claim that Trump's donors are billionaires. In fact, there has been and continues to be a surge of small donors pouring in, plus he's broken fund raising records.

Bernie and his brats will get stomped in the Midwest, including losing Minnesota in addition to not flipping any trump Midwest states. Down-ballot carnage may be epic.

Add Virginia and at least Nevada from the Southwest to the bern’s losses. He may not even carry New Hampshire or Maine either. Payback will be a bitch to this backstabber.

Sanders will not be the nominee.

Bernie's health will be the ? mark.

However, the Dems will rally around him and he is popular with many Trump populists in WI, MI, and PA.

Of the big 4 democratic(using the term very loosely in Sanders case) candidates, Sanders is the least likely to win the presidency. He is also behind in the primaries. He could not even beat Clinton. Your OP is wrong in pretty much every way.

I was referring to Biden and Buttigieg who beg Trump’s donors for funding.

There is no prize for having more people donate to your campaign(except participation in the debates, and even then, it caps). National President: Democratic primary Polls | FiveThirtyEight Nationally, Sanders is 10 points behind. Iowa he is in third, NH he is in first, Nevada 2nd(8 points behind), and 25 points behind in SC. That is not a position of strength. Combine that with a significant portion of the core democratic voters have a distinct distaste for him and his "I am not a democrat, until I want something from the party" attitude.

All candidates, including Sanders, beg for funds. It is not a crime. There is nothing wrong with it. I mean, when your argument is "OH NOZ, they can appeal to others", that is not a good argument...

I guess we’ll see. You not wanting him to win is proof of nothing but yours bias against Bernie. Are you even watching the race? Sanders is second ONLY to Biden, and in many cases not even him. Buttigieg has almost zero chance. Warren is faltering since she waffled on M4A. Who’s the fourth? Yang? Klobuchar? Please.

SO to you, second place is in the lead...

Biden is almost twice ahead of Bernie.

Keep dreaming though.

No, Biden and Buttigieg BEG for funds from billionaires. Meaning that they are bought. Compromised. They can’t get money from small donors so they don’t serve small donors. They serve wealthy donors. Biden told a room full of billionaires that nothing would fundamentally change if they just bankrolled his campaign.

Sanders will not be the nominee.

I agree with you. Bernie is like Trump in that he has his faithful followers, but he doesn't have enough all around support to get the nomination. I just don't see it.

SO to you, second place is in the lead...

Biden can’t tap his donors again. They’re maxed out. Biden’s lead is soft and largely a function of the media saying he’s most electable. Bernie will take him.

The only reason a clown like Biden still leads the democrat primary process is because ALL the rest of the candidates are such complete pieces of ****. I have a hard time believing even the democrats would be stupid enough to vote for Sanders. But hey...you know what? If the idiot leftists are stupid enough to vote for a rat socialist like Sanders and the socialist agenda they are promoting...so be it. They will find out really fast just how poor they really are. Maybe they can watch some videos from Venezuela...learn how to catch and cook rats, teach their kids how to dumpster dive...etc.

Bernie broke the record for most individual donors and is doing it in a crowded field.

That is because he has the existing database of donors from last time he hits up. A dollar donation is all they need. That is why Steyer who is self-financing (allegedly) still has to get dollar donors to meet the DNC debate requirements.

Bernie is like a parody of Larry David's impersonation of him at this point...

EVER.

Injecting this poison into the primary doesn't help your cause.

You do know that Sanders gets some money from rich people too? Does that make him bought too?

Do you think that money will win this election? Bloomberg has 50 billion, and he won't win either.

Bernie will lose, again.

But even though I profoundly dislike him, if by any chance he does win, I'll pinch my nose and vote for him in November. Anybody but Trump.
