Bernie offers voters "free" childcare

So you still clinging to your claim that the US government doesn't support pharma research.

And the US far and away leads the world in all types of medical research. Apparently something else you didn't have a clue about.

The Most Innovative Countries In Biology And Medicine

And no one said that you can't innovate in other countries. Nice attempt at a strawman though.

But I want to hear more about your claim that the US government doesn't fund big pharma. That was really interesting.

So you admit innovation happens all over the world.

See.....that was easy

Thank you for demonstrating the ultimate sign of a person who has lost but doesn't have the integrity to admit it.

Claim someone said something they never said and then yell victory while sticking your fingers in your ears.

This was pretty sad. Even for you.

But if you have time could you tell me more about how the US government doesn't support pharma research.

Because most people like to feel the dignity of being a full member of society, regardless of external economic influences.

Oh my sides!!!!

What does that even mean? "Feel the dignity of being a full member of society" in terms of economic????

Does that mean that if people aren't given welfare checks, section 8 housing, free education, free healthcare, free everything--- they can't feel any self dignity????

Sorry, but you have it all wrong and upside down. That feeling of dignity comes from within, especially from handling your own life in a responsible and accountable manner without help from anyone else. PRIDE cannot be given to you in a welfare check. Depending on others is the OPPOSITE of building pride and dignity.

Don't get me wrong. You can be poor and still have dignity. And it starts without asking or demanding anything from anyone else. People who take help (other than the physically or mentally incapable) forfeit any hope for ever having any dignity.

It does. In a small way....as you have shown. You made my point for me. Lol

So your point was to be proven wrong and demonstrate you have no idea what you are talking.

That's an interesting point and I agree with it.

Awwwwww. Do you feel better? You're a winner....I dont care what people say. Lol

Sure you don't. Your posting history says otherwise.

I was just glad I could help educate you.

While I personally have never taken a welfare check (and there were times in the past that I would have easily qualified), the fact is that it would have been ok during those times if that was what was needed to get on my feet. Most people are mature enough to recognize that sometimes a helping hand is needed when the chips are down.

I note that the bulk of the article talks about 'publications', and appears to suggest the quantity of literature published is some sort of benchmark for quality. It isn't-unless peer-reviewed and recommended-and even then, beware.

Peer review: a flawed process at the heart of science and journals

She doesn't "most need it" if she doesn't have a job

Someone with a job would be making more money than someone w/o and thus have less a need for free childcare than someone w/o the income to pay for it who would have a greater need for government payed childcare. I hope that spells it out for you. Otherwise, I don't know what you mean and would need clarification.

Sanders reveals free childcare plan for preschoolers - Axios

Once again, Bernie is trying to bribe the voters with their own money. Won't be too long before he offers everyone a free new car in exchange for voting for him.

This unrelated part I found to be hilarious:

So Sanders will gladly support a person like Bloomberg who implemented a "horrifically racist" policy for 12 years.

What a hypocrite.

I could use a new car. If Bernie offers me that I might have to consider voting for him.

It'll likely be something like this:

LOL. No, it will probably be one of those three foot long smart cars. But, hey, now that I think of it, this is a great idea for Bernie. Offer everyone a free brand new smart car if they trade in what they have now. It will save the planet. How much could it possibly cost? Not to worry though, the rich will pay for it. And, we could use smartcar stationwagons instead of semi-Trucks to deliver goods.

My personal motto: 'Failure is not an option'. Anyone who accepts charity, expects charity, or would ask for charity--- will normally find themselves requiring it. Reason is: They already have baked into their philosophy that failure is a possible option.

Some people require it

Here is your gold star I guess.

Some people require it [welfare]

Unless they are physically or mentally incapable then they are losers. We need to stop giving trophies to losers.

I find it laughable that people claim to be too poor to pay for their own rent or food, but then I see them walking around with $1000 cell phones and $200 sneakers. The way welfare should work is that if someone needs assistance then they get in line and the government (aka: taxpayers) will give them a 20lb bag of rice and they can go home and cook that. If they don't have jobs it isn't like they don't have time to cook rice. But making it too easy on welfare recipients only encourages more. And clearly for illegals coming here from poor places in the world, the thought of living here on welfare and making more babies is to them like living as kings compared where they come from.

Yep, tents and bags of rice. Then we'll see who really "requires" it.
