Barr's Conflict of Interest

That’s a moot point since a public version of the report was already prepared by the Mueller team. Barr is sitting on that report.[/QUO
It is illegal for Barr to hand over unredacted grand jury testimony. The world will get to see the report tomorrow. It will change nothing. The Mueller team did their job and the investigation is officially over.

And you learned this where ??

Look up the meaning of "moot." The question of whether or not the full report contains grand jury information is irrelevant since the Mueller team prepared a version of the report suitable for public consumption.

We will see the report tomorrow, with the redactions that Barr, Mueller and Rosenstein worked on.

You're just hopping from irrelevant point to irrelevant point. Mueller team prepared a version of the report suitable for public consumption, and Barr is sitting on that report. That's what matters.

I have seen no proof that the Mueller team has their own version of the report. Barr will be releasing the legally redacted report tomorrow. My actually only 'hope" is that we move on. The Mueller investigation is over.

Some members of the office were particularly disappointed that Barr did not release summary information the special counsel team had prepared, according to two people familiar with their reactions.

“There was immediate displeasure from the team when they saw how the attorney general had characterized their work instead,” according to one U.S. official briefed on the matter.

Summaries were prepared for different sections of the report, with a view that they could be made public, the official said.

The report was prepared “so that the front matter from each section could have been released immediately — or very quickly,” the official said. “It was done in a way that minimum redactions, if any, would have been necessary, and the work would have spoken for itself.”

Barr chose to

1)not release these public versions, and
2)not even tell the public about those versions.

In light of new revelations that he should have recused himself, Barr is corrupt and a liar.

I am not going to pay to read an article. How about you sum it up for me. Who were these Mueller team members? Names?

I posted the relevant snippet from the article. Whether you choose to pay to read the article or not is not my problem.

In other words.....unnamed sources?

Yes, it is illegal to release grand jury information to Congress w/o a court order.

It's going to get leaked though - especially if it's relevant. Maybe heads will roll for that, maybe not but if Barr is hiding Trump's crimes, it will get out. If not from some courageous aide in congress or the DOJ, then from Trump's own leaky administration.

Leaky leak leak.

Just as I suspected. Unna-

It won't get leaked, because there's nothing to see. The Democrats are like it down tighter than a crabs ass, once they figure out it makes them look like conspiracy nutters.

More conspiracy theory garbage.

Even if the entire Mueller Report was released 100% unredacted, Democrats and the CTers sprinkled among them would still grasp at anything to save their floundering ship, the USS Collusion.

If they can't find anything in the unredacted version, they'd just make it up.

That's what happened with Kavanaugh. No there there, so an old college gang rape was concocted. Nothing there either.

Nice fantasy, but the facts say otherwise.

Could you give us, and the Senate, those facts?

I would like to know. The uninformed Senate needs to know.

If you want to resort to ad homs you can play with somebody else.

You are free to move on. Before you go, I will give you another chance to answer my original unanswered question, Names please?

I'm not aware that I needed your permission.

Of course you don't need my permission. :2razz: Hey...before you go, have you located those names yet?
