- Do you care about Trump ordering thousands of children (many of them under 6 years) taken from their parents as a political ploy? Many still haven’t been reunited and may never be.
- Do you care about Trump eliminating important environmental protection laws, resulting in slowing reduction of harmful emissions in the U.S., just to boost the economy?
- Do you care that Trump is personally financially benefiting from foreign governments?
- Do you care that Trump’s daughter/son-in-law are also personally benefiting from their faux jobs in his administration?
- Do you care that violent racial/homophobic attacks have risen dramatically during Trump’s time in office?

The above are only a handful of Trump’s shameful achievements that have harmed our country.

I am guessing that the Trump Administration has been more proactive than that but obviously they can't publicize what they are doing if they hope to catch somebody in the act.

Too often we wait until there is a problem before we do anything about it. We didn't anticipate an attack like 9/11 until it happened, and then measures were taken to prevent it from happening again including banning all sharp objects on airplanes.

We didn't anticipate shoe bombs until somebody tried to set one off and we have had to have our shoes inspected at airports ever since.

We didn't anticipate terrorist attacks at sporting events and other events involving large numbers of people until somebody committed or tried to commit the crime and now security is enhanced at such events.

And so forth.

Countering the trolls will require education as well as attempts to catch people.

And considering that the media won't tell us because that's how advertisers sell stuff and politicians won't teach us because every campaign and every speech is written using those methods I don't see much hope.

Add to that admitting they helped him is not in trumps character, I doubt he's doing much looking at reelection.

As to the sharp objects and shoe bombs, TSA rarely catches those testing them by trying g to bring dummy guns, knives and bombs. Its just security theater.

Which is all I expect the government will do to address the issue. Window dressing. A big show.

First, try separating people/events. One thing is often not like the other.

The fact that nobody, not even Trump’s top cabinet members, knows what Trump and Putin talked about is remarkable. Trump even personally confiscated the translator’s notes. For Trump, or any other previous presidents, that behavior should cause citizens to question what was said, and why it was kept so secretive.

It would make sense for Lynch to recuse herself knowing what was going on and not wanting to be part of it. It being the miscarriage of justice to benefit Hillary.
Of course, she might have been able to thwart it, or put a stop to it, or maybe not, if that's what Obama really wanted.
