Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton Retain Most Admired Titles (Gallup Polll)

I am still awaiting the answer to your original question

I thought it would be a person from China or India given that they have such large populations giving them a huge voting advantage in the poll.

So who is the second most admired person on the planet?

Your total denial has left me flabbergasted. You are really embarrassing yourself.

My total denial of what exactly?

Explain to me how the people of large nations like India and China would have picked Trump or any American for that matter?

Go back and read what YOU wrote. Perhaps this time the light bulb will flicker and you will see the error of your ways?

or not.

How does a poll of some Americans tell us that Trump is the second most admired man on the planet when the USA is but 5% of the planets population who have opinions of their own that were excluded from the poll simply because they were not included in a poll of American opinion?

In other words, the poll showing Obama being #1 is nothing but a crock. I agree with you.

Jesus ****ing Christ! Would people shut the **** UUUUUP about Hillary Goddamned Clinton already! THAT GOES FOR TRUMPUBLICANS TOO!

If you read that in my post to you - you are either delusional or have extremely poor reading comprehension skills.

I ask you again - How does a poll of some Americans tell us that Trump is the second most admired man on the planet when the USA is but 5% of the planets population who have opinions of their own that were excluded from the poll simply because they were not included in a poll of American opinion?

Where are you getting this nonsense from? It makes no sense at all. This is just you trying to run away from giving a straight answer to the obvious question caused by your own ridiculous assertion -

First - You have NEVER presented any evidence that Trump is the second most admired man on the planet.

And second, I ask you again hoping you will discover the utter inanity of your statement

You are the one running away from the straight answer. You are perfectly fine with finding the poll legitimate with Obama at the top but then, all of a sudden, when it comes to the second most admired person on the planet you question the legitimacy of the poll. You can't have it both ways. Either you agree with the results or you don't. If you find the poll to be not legitimate then that's fine. We'll take Obama off the list too and conclude the poll is a bunch of nonsense. Now, do you accept the poll, or do you want to dismiss it altogether, or do you want to do the big dodge yet again?

You have presented no such poll or no such finding.

You're just being difficult. Please refer to post number, oh now which one was it? Oh yeah, now I remember, post #1.

Stop the presses!!!

Michelle Obama just beat Hillary for most admired woman! At least, according to this survey ----> https://www.cnbc.com/2018/12/28/michelle-obama-wins-americas-most-admired-woman-in-gallup-poll.html

And, if it's not enough to piss off the orange man that Obama's woman is admired more than his, there's always this ---> "The Obama family celebrated a double victory with former President Barack Obama taking home the "Most Admired Man" award for the 11th year in a row. President Donald Trump finished second in the male category."

Here ya go haymarket. See link on post 89 above.

Glad I could help! Happy New Year!

The poll you linked to say no such thing.

It says it quite specifically, though I really don't think this is a worthy battle to be fighting, seeing as Obama is #1 and Trump is #2. And I'm sure that Trump is well aware of the popular saying that second place is first place loser.

Yes it does..... in the United States of America.... NOT the planet as was claimed and I took objection to.

Here was the posters claim

Yeah, I had to do quite a bit of reverse engineering (hitting the blue arrows compulsively) to get to moderateright's ridiculous post.

Exactly. A poll of Americans which shows that Trump is admired by 13% of our countrymen hardly makes him "the second most admired person on the planet".

This describes who was polled

Results for the poll were based on telephone interviews conducted between December 3-12 and were spread across all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

It appears that some 95% of the planet was not included in this poll.

It's not easy to say with certainty whether he was trolling or just being stupid.

Yes. The belief is strong in some Trumpkins. They do not want to see the real man behind the curtain.

I didn't know The Pope, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, and Beyonce were politicians. Good to know.

Oh and just so you know. There aren't that many conservatives out there. I do believe the population of the country leans left as it is so...

Yes. The presidential elections tend to go to the Republicans, even despite losing the popular vote, due to a quirk of the electoral college. If you live in a sparsely populated area, your vote is worth far more than in a densely populated area, both in terms of the impact on the presidency, as well as in the senate.

I'm sure this just makes the idiot in chief seethe:

Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton Retain Most Admired Titles
by Jeffrey M. Jones

Barack Obama edges out Donald Trump as most admired man
Hillary Clinton wins narrow victory over Michelle Obama
Clinton has won the past 16 years; Obama the past 10

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Americans once again are most likely to name Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton as the man and woman living anywhere in the world they admire most, as they have for the past 10 years. The pair retain their titles this year, although by much narrower margins than in the past. Obama edges out Donald Trump, 17% to 14%, while Clinton edges out Michelle Obama, 9% to 7%.

Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton Retain Most Admired Titles

In Luke 6:26 Jesus warned wise men to avoid seeking praise of men, "Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets."

I have just heard that those telephone calls are made to people who still have land lines.

Hopefully, then, the results do not actually reflect the opinion of the majority of the American people.
