Avenatti made a similar crack at Trump Jr. on Tuesday, also saying then that he will soon "be indicted" on federal charges.

I believe he is correct, I expect a LOT of **** to hit the fan from the Mueller investigation after the midterms.

I would not be even a little bit surprised to see a Putin sub pick up the entire trump family in an extraction mission now that their cover is blown...

Agreed, but Trump will be working hard to take control of our Justice Administration after the midterms also. Mueller needs to complete his task before Trump puts our Justice Administration under his thumb...

Avenatti isn't a spokesperson for the Special Counsel investigation.

Also, "I'm right because I've been right before" isn't a very compelling reason to take him at his word.

Not that The Hill has ever been a go-to for my news, but my respect for that outlet goes down regularly.

Even if he is, I doubt he will be convicted. And in the off chance he is convicted, I doubt he will be facing any jail time. And on the slim chance he is both convicted and sentenced to jail time, I imagine he will be pardoned shortly before his report date. There will be no leverage to force cooperation with the collusion investigation as long as his father is the sitting president. Trump Jr. would probably be the least important indictment in the investigation in terms of proving collusion.

So the main advantage to the democrats that I can see with an indictment of Trump Jr. will be the political optics of Trump pardoning his own son. They will use it to imply corruption to try to galvanize voters against Trump. Republicans will try to mitigate this by crying "witch hunt."

Yeah!! Especially since Trump allowed Putin to gain control of 20% of our uranium reserves(ignoring Russian crimes to do so), refused to sell arms to our NATO ally the Ukraine, berated Romney for citing Russia as our rival, got caught secretly promising Putin "more flexibility" after his election, then ordering our intel to STAND DOWN, and not interfere with Russian meddling in the 2016 election, despite having months of forewarning.

Yeah once Trump did all that...OH...WAIT A MINUTE....
